The power of "yes" brought me to this place in my life. Saying yes to things outside of my comfort zone and yes to things that were just "not my thing. And all of those times have culminated in tremendous happiness.

Often when a challenge looms over us we think it is insurmountable. We don't know how we will manage. But later we will look back and we will marvel at how well we adapted. We grow, we change, and we find hidden depths.

When became a single mother I faced such a challenge. And it was all the more daunting because I was responsible for not just my life, but the lives of my children. I faced every day with voices telling me I couldn't possibly succeed. But then I did.

Because I was enough.
