Hello everyone! Just wanted to thank you for joining our new "Green Scene" group, and let you know that we plan on announcing our first online meeting soon. ALSO,

Because the Green Scene is a new endeavor, I should take the opportunity to let all IG followers know exactly what we're about:

We're an informal group of (mostly) tech execs by day, and investors by night. A few years ago, we discovered we had a knack for investing, and began informally helping our friends and family with important things like 401ks, long-term investments, and tax-emption strategies.

Now, years later, many of us have become financial advisors, determined to bring more of an objective, mathematical approach to investing, while rejecting the tendency to promote any one financial institution, investment strategy, or instrument.

Instead, we hold informal meetings with regular investors, and during these meetings, we have financial conversations with people we'd advised in the past, so that we can see what worked in the market, and what didn't..."warts and all..."

At the end of the day, we've discovered that holding these informal meetings doesn't just provide investors with more transparency, it's actually a more effective way of slowly building a relationship with potential clients as well.

AND SO, with all of that said, we just wanted to thank everyone for joining the IG page, and that we plan on holding our first meeting very soon, and when we finalize dates, we'll be dropping an Evite on IG!

Starting today, we're starting THE GREEN SCENE...a collection of San Diego business execs by day, and investors by night, who get together once or twice a month to share sophisticated investment tips. As a rule, The Green Scene has a "no sales" rule during our meetings- meaning that we never pitch any investments directly to anyone who attends.

Occasionally, Green Scene members approach us for Money Management help, and when that happens, we're happy to oblige, but we always let interested parties approach us, and not vice versa.
