We have such WIDE variety of parts, sometimes it's hard to know where to begin! The rain has kept us inside today, so we've been going through pictures, listing on eBay and doing general clean up chores. Hope you have a fantastic week-end! James Brian Keith

Sometimes God brings people into our lives for a season, then they are gone for a season and then they are back again. Season 1: High School teacher & soccer coach, mentor, encourager. Season 2: Friends as adults, mostly from a distance because our paths did not cross often. Season 3: friend in time of need! When Pete heard we had purchased Foundry St Classic Parts he did not hesitate to say, "Let me know how I can help." Just as we were trying to figure out how to get the peak of this building painted, God sent Pete back for season 3! Different people have different strengths. Heights is not Brian's strength but helping is one of Pete's. Pete gave up 2 afternoons to help us. We are so very grateful for each season of our life that has included Peter Williamson!!

In case anyone was wondering what Becki was up to this weekend..."Back in the day" a couple of our buildings were smartly dressed in automotive, garage and dealership signs. Many years before we purchased the business, those signs were sold. This weekend we began the process of bringing back the look. Buying those types of signs is out of our reach right now, so after much deliberation, debate, discussion, etc, we have decided to paint signs and emblems on our "Long building". This weekend, the first of 12 was completed. James Brian Keith

Just wanted to give a shout-out to Jess today! Jessica Keith For weeks now, on Fridays, she's has spent hours, upon hours, upon hours, sorting, organizing, filing (the old fashioned way) and putting away hundreds of bearings. (These pictures are only a fraction of the inventory) It's a dirty job and yesterday was especially hot but she has pressed on. Jess, you are doing a wonderful job and you are nearing the finish line!! Thank you for being so willing!

This bus was moved into this position 19.5 yrs ago when we were flooded and the DEP got involved. Since then, and even more so since we bought this business, we have looked forward to today!! There was SO MUCH to do before that happened but we kept pushing toward today and now, it is done. This bus is home to 100's and 100's of pistons. We weren't sure if the bus would want to move again, but in the end, it seemed just as eager to get back to it's home as we were to get it there. At one point or another all 3 of our boys were involved, either cutting trees, moving wood or tires, or using their truck to help move the bus. We can't thank them enough for their help!! James Brian Keith

When you wake up early on a Saturday morning and say, "Let's run down to the flea market real quick before we open the shop" and the next thing you know, you are in the middle of a project you didn't expect to start because you found really cool shelving you didn't know you needed and then you have to take a trip to southern CT on Sunday morning because the guy you never met before who had to shelving you didn't know you needed had more shelving at home that he was taking to the next flea market, the one you had never been to before but have wanted to for a very long time, and you also need to take time to visit with your moms (because we are so very thankful they are both still with us!) and you still get the project done before the sun set on your weekend! Job well done James Brian Keith!! Thank you, Chuck LaVigna of stonehousevintage_in Newtown, CT.

Some time ago we listed a starter relay switch for a late 50's era Chrysler. Then a couple weeks ago, a gentleman from the UK sent us a desperate message saying he was in need of this exact part to finish his restoration and get his car running again. Because of USPS shipping policies, eBay wouldn't let him buy the part because we were not allowed to ship a "switch" to England. (Evidently, that is a red-flag word for possible bomb parts?) There was a bit of a time crunch because he was hoping to have the car running by a particular date for a particular car show. We did some scrambling and manipulating with the eBay listing and finding the best & fastest shipping options. We even had a few failed communications attempts because of the time zone differences! He was finally able to purchase the part, we shipped it out, it arrived on time and we have an extremely happy customer across the pond! How fun is that?
From the customer:
"Hi Nashcan99
Just to say the relay arrived yesterday and it is exactly what i was looking for and way ahead of schedule!!
I fitted it today and the car starts per perfectly.
I would like to say that I was most impressed with your service and persistence in sorting it out for me; I cannot recommend your company enough. Many thanks."

Brian & Becki spent the day selling at the 36th Annual Ty-Rods Spring Auto Swap meet! My pictures don't do our space justice, there were just too many people when I was trying to take pics. It was COLD...yes, I was cold...so you know it was cold! But it was a good day. It is fun work and we enjoy working together!!

These pictures do not do justice for this load of parts! This weekend, we got into a machine shop that has gone out of business. The owner was a customer of NBPease & Co for many, many years and when we took over, we were happy to continue providing parts for him. Then a week ago, he decided to close up and gave us a call. We have just added hundreds, if not thousands, of engine valves, pistons rings, rocker arm assemblies, bearings, seals, etc. to our inventory. There are parts as early as 1910 and up. They were kept on beautiful, dry, albeit dusty, storage. Please share this post with as many of your friends as you can. If you know anyone rebuilding an engine, please have them give us a call!

Exhaust-ing Work! (I've been dying to say that all week!! 😁) We got ourselves into a mammoth load of exhaust pipes, tail pipes and mufflers. Sadly, they had been sitting in a wet, dank basement for so many years that most of them ended up rusted beyond use, but we were able to rescue some of them. Brian & Becki, with some much appreciated help from Nathan, made many trips up & down the service elevator to load the trailer then off to the scrapyard or back to the shop to identify and (hopefully soon) we'll get them up on eBay.

Videos (show all)

All set up and looking forward to a good day of selling!
Then Brian & Jordan had to do some manipulation to get the bus into neutral.
I repeat, no birds or salamanders were hurt in the removal of this tree!
And then it finally happened!
When relining brake shoes, the rivets get a gentle tap, small adjustments are made and then the final tap tightens them ...
All the cars in the show at Hershey have to be driven onto the show field. This gave us a great parade to watch on Frida...
