The Philippine-American Educational Foundation is excited to announce that applications for the Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program (FLTA) A.Y. 2023-2024 is now open!

Funded by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) at the U.S. Department of State, the FLTA Program is a full scholarship program for early career (not more than seven years of teaching experience) English-language teachers to work as Filipino-language teaching assistants at a U.S. university for one academic year (nine months).

FLTA aims at strengthening foreign language instruction at U.S. colleges and universities while providing foreign teachers the opportunity to increase their English language proficiency, refine their teaching skills, and extend their knowledge of the culture and customs of the United States.

On March 23, 1948, the Philippine-American Educational Foundation was established as the Fulbright Commission in the Philippines.

📢 SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY 📢

The Commission on Higher Education is glad to announce the acceptance of applications to Philippine-American Educational Foundation's Fulbright-Philippine Agriculture Scholarship Program (FPASP) for Graduate Studies for Academic Year 2023-2024.

This program seeks to develop the technical, scientific, professional, and academic leaders to improve the Philippines' capability to modernize the scientific and technological capability of people working in the agriculture and fisheries sectors. It is a scholarship opportunity for Filipinos to study at the Master's graduate-level or pursue non-degree doctoral dissertation research in the United States. Furthermore, this scholarship grant covers the tuition and fees, settling-in-allowance, monthly maintenance allowance, books and supplies allowance, in-transit allowance, health and accident insurance, round trip international airfare, and excess baggage allowance.

The Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program for International Teachers (Fulbright DAI) is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State and implemented by IREX (the International Research & Exchanges Board), a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. In the Philippines, Fulbright DAI is administered by the Philippine-American Educational Foundation (Fulbright Philippines).

The Fulbright DAI program, which replaces the International Leaders in Education Program (ILEP), provides teachers with a unique opportunity to develop greater expertise in their subject areas, enhance their teaching skills, increase their knowledge about the United States, and complete an individual or group project.
