The leadership of the University of Liberia Staff Association (ULSA) NOTIFIES all Staff Members of the University of Liberia to attend a very important Assembly scheduled for Thursday, May 18, 2023 @11:00AM, in the Theater of the Administrative Complex (AC) Building on the Fendall Campus.
The Assembly will highlight important issues of concerns.

Today Friday, December 10,2021 is ULSA second Emergency General Assembly on the Fendall Campus. Time: 11Am

ULSA Leadership will give an update from the December 9,2021 emergency meeting with the President of the University of Liberia and the Administration

Background of University of Liberia Staff Association (ULSA) First Emergency General Assembly today with more than 600 employees and contractors in attendance, held n the Fendall Campus within the Administrative Complex Building Theater at 11:00AM
December 6,2021

A. Purpose
1. to solicit views from members on the general welfare and seek support for leadership to address their concerns including the entire negotiation with University of Liberia Faculty Association (ULFA).
2. Staff want immediate payment on monies unjustly deducted from their salaries over the months
3. Staff want ULSA inclusion in every negotiation ongoing with the Government of Liberia, University of Liberia Faculty Association (ULFA) and the University of Liberia Administration.
4. Staff grumbled of being unfairly treated on issues regarding contractors' statuses, promotions, inequality in salaries, insurance policies, staff development (scholarship, short, medium and long term trainings), unexplained deduction/cuts in their salaries, non-fixed rate in salary, unjustified suspensions and dismissals of members by some bosses, unfavorable working environment, lack of adequate tools and materials to work with, lack of motivation to work, etc.

B. What ULSA decided
ULSA members overwhelmingly endorsed and mandated its leadership to carry out the below:
1. Write the Administration and copy all relevant stakeholders today on those issues and requests fruitful response not later than Wednesday, December 8, 2021.
2. In the main time take to the media beginning today December 6, 2021 and onward until they get what they merit
3. According to University of Liberia Staff Association (ULSA); thereafter, convene another General Assembly on Friday, December 10, 2021, to report back to University of Liberia Staff Association (ULSA) members
4. In the event where Administration fails to meet up with their requests, they will resort to indefinite strike actions on all campuses of the University until their plights are addressed satisfactorily.
