Happy Easter Sunday everyone! Today, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the hope that it brings to our lives.
As we gather today to celebrate this day, let us remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross. He willingly endured unimaginable pain and suffering so that we could have access to eternal life.
This Easter Sunday, let us embrace the message of hope, love, and joy that comes with the resurrection. Let us be reminded that no matter what we may be going through in life, there is always hope and we are never alone.
May this day be a reminder that we are loved, valued and cherished by our Creator. May we all experience the peace and joy that comes with knowing that we have been saved through the grace of God.
So, let us celebrate this day with grateful hearts and may the message of Easter bring encouragement and inspiration to all of us. Happy Easter!
Today is Good Friday, a day to reflect on the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross. It's a day to remember the incredible love that He showed us, even in the face of immense pain and suffering.
As we go about our day, let's take a moment to pause and reflect on the significance of this day. Let's remember the darkness that descended upon the earth, and the hope that emerged on the third day when Jesus rose again.
Let's also take this opportunity to consider the ways in which we can honor Jesus' sacrifice in our own lives. Let's strive to love others as He loved us, to show compassion and kindness to those around us, and to live our lives in a way that brings glory to Him.
May this Good Friday be a time of deep reflection and gratitude for the incredible gift that Jesus has given us.
Just a reminder about 12 hour prayer this Friday!
Starting at 1-2pm at The Charter then prayer walking to Parkhead Nazarene where we will stay for the rest of the day.
Then Parkhead YP will be leading us 3-4pm and then we’ll do a wee prayer walk with any kids who are there at 4pm.
There will be some stations to focus on throughout the day or space for praying in groups or praying personally.
From about 8-9 we’ll have some singing worship and prayer and then we will move up to the McLaren room until we finish at 1am.
This is such a great opportunity to seek God together on Good Friday. Drop in and out as you can throughout the day!
Have you ever thought of joining a Life group?
