This was my first monsoon trek. The mere thought of this inevitable torture of the rainfall, the wet and sliperry trails, the uphill twist and turns, the sad maze of dark clouds couldn't stop me from trying out the gosaikunda trek in monsoon. The morning was always clear clouds and sunny but after 10 the monsoon clouds would come and hide the peaks of the surrounding mountains.
