Seiko 5 Superior, one of those gems you'd be surprised to find these days. As a collector I love vintage watches, it's the uniqueness of the timepiece, the rarity of an out of production item. This seiko 5 has a 7s36 hearth, automatic non hackable, non windable and as recommended by the manufacturer, date should be changed out of the 9pm to 4am zone to ensure the correct functioning. The 4s35 movement, successor of the 7s35 has hacking function, is automatic, hand winded if required and no issues when adjusting date. Do you prefer the exclusivity of the old model or the functionality of the new movement, tell us in the comments!

Citizen watches represent an interesting option for those who don't wanna spend a fortune and still want a reliable well built watch. Their Eco Drive technology allows the accurate quartz movement to keep working for up to 6 months in completely darkness (solar) and hassle free with battery replacement every ten years or so. For around Aud500 or 300€ models that vary from classic dress watches to tough daily beaters can be found. A thombs up for quality and price point. Leave us a comment and tell us what you think.

Despite of being a rolex submariner homage, it represents an interesting proposition for its movement and quality at probably the lowest price point in the market. A piece that can be an attractive every day watch.
