Dr.- Ing. Reinhold Schluff has a degree as engineer for civil engineering and specialist for water, sewage and treatment plants. Due to his expertise in the field of water management he became appointed sworn certified expert for canalization, sewerage plants and special drainage techniques by the public authorities.

His engineering office planned canalizations and sewerage plants in Germany for cities and villages. His office operated abroad in Sudan, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Poland. After the reunification of Eastern and Western German the office designed general sewage plans for districts in Eastern Germany. The districts comprised 30.000 to 50.000 inhabitants each.

Due to his experience in the sewage disposal the Federal Ministry for Research and Technology of the Federal German Republic ordered the development of a reasonably priced sewerage system for the rural areas. After 6 years of successful research Reinhold Schluff graduated as Dr.- Ing (doctor engineer).
