I closely remember when I first discovered skincare.
I was serving and collecting 19k (40$) per month. I definitely couldn’t afford the luxury of skincare. It pained me so much.
With the kind of knowledge I had gathered that time I knew enough to know that the sun was my enemy.
I avoided the sun like the plague.
Used umbrella each time I stepped out. Specifically asked for uv protection added to my prescription glasses .
The sun didn’t burn me as much again and I was happy because that meant less damage at least.

However, I still wasn’t able to afford sunscreen until I got a real job a year after.
I wasn’t aware of cheap options.

Thankfully retailers like (not sponsored) are bringing affordable options to our doorsteps.

Tip: set aside 100 Naira each day and you will be able to afford a sunscreen from her store every month 😉

My hope is that we can all get to a point where our finances are stable &flexible and skincare wouldn’t be seen as a luxury but a lifestyle

The economic inflation in Nigeria has gotten worse. Affordable options aren’t as affordable as we thought.

Kindly drop the names of cheap sunscreens we can all try.

Love is free …please remember to share it 🥰
