Ravel's orchestration of Mussorgsky's Catacombs is the most well-known, most-recorded version. But have you heard the incredibly Batman-esque Tushmalov orchestration? My digital orchestra has made it possible to recreate the first few epic bars of this beautiful and gothic composition.
This is my attempt, using a short scene of donated footage, to capture that classic Bernard Hermann sounds of the late 50's/early 60's in film music
A filmmaker I know has kindly donated some footage for me to challenge myself with, to create a score that hopefully fits the mood of the scene. The filmmakers has asked to remain uncredited for this footage.
