I have never cared about the Goat argument because I think both have dominated the game for 2 decades and they both deserve that title. But no matter the outcome of this final I don't think the world cup should be factored in when doing the argument because football people told us messi does not need any international trophy to make any statement as the Goat. This was after his team was dumped out of the last world cup. So let's not shift the goal post again if he wins the world cup. I think he will win it though but I am routing for France.
