In the modern Pantheon of rose fragrances, Mon Evidence Yves Rocher takes the place of Cinderella: Its inexpensive and cute composition is far from the heavy luxury of the luxe or the atypical strange elegance of a niche, but it gets a lot of sympathy from the public. The fragrance received the Fragrance of the Year 2018 Award in Russia in the Life Style Femme category, as well as the Fifi Award France 2018 in the Mass Market Femme category. The first, eponymous fragrance from the house of Lo**ta Lempicka signified uniqueness and quirkiness back in 1997 when it was launched. Created by perfumer Annick Menardo, its composition introduces a licorice note combined with cherry, violet, ivy, almond, iris, vanilla, tonka, and heliotrope for a special gourmand, spicy, fruity, and powdery perfume. The perfume was re-launched as Lo**ta Lempicka Le Premier Parfum in 2010. In 2020, it returns to the market in a new outfit and redesigned bottle as the Lo**ta Lempicka Original. Inspired by a fairy tale and a fantasy world, Lo**ta Lempicka Original was developed to take care of your skin. It is vegan and free of sunscreens, colors, and endocrine disruptors. Fresh and sparkling bergamot, enriched with a distinctive note of anise, reveals a powdery and ultra-sensual floral duo of irises and licorice. The composition is described as a spicy and woody delicacy, oozing a cloud of musk.

Perfumer Pierre Negrin created the newest spicy and woody fragrance for Amouage, which launches on May 7th, 2020. It arrives in a dark blue signature flacon decorated with a sapphire blue Swarovski crystal. The men's edition, AMOUAGE INTERLUDE BLACK IRIS MAN, is actually a flanker of Interlude Man that "evokes an air of disorder while maintaining a sense of balance and tranquility through the inventive use of orris, frankincense, and myrrh." Both fragrances are made as Eaux de Parfum and signed by Negrin at a concentration of 25% of the fragrance oil. The opening notes comine zesty bergamot, fresh rosemary and violet leaves, leading to, as Amouage says, perpetuating intervals of conflict which are countered by notes of amber, frankincense, cistus labdanum, and myrrh. A layer of orris absolute and vanilla smooths the heart of the composition. The base brings a rich texture with a leather note, agarwood smoke, patchouli, sandalwood, and cedarwood.

The Scandal line by Jean Paul Gaultier has just been extended with the attractive edition So Scandal as the fourth fragrance of the line, the most fruity and flowery of all editions. The new flacon follows the design of the Scandal line, and is closely connected with the La Belle creation when it comes to the pleated glass shape and the rich red color of the juice. What can we expect from So Scandal? The newest So Scandal! is a sexy, fruity and flowery bomb. The new fragrance for women from Montblanc is called Montblanc Signature, announced as an oriental-floral and musky fragrance intended for unforgettable women, "authors of their own story." The face of the campaign is Diane Ducret, a French-Belgian writer Signature plays with contrasts of opulent and sensual vanilla and the "clean" facets of white musk. Fresh fruity notes of clementine at the top are combined with a floral heart of magnolia and ylang-ylang. Angélique Encens, a vintage perfume from the Creed Private Collection that lists editions specifically made for the most famous clients, dates from 1933. In 2019, Creed returns it to its shelves again, after 10 years of absence. Angélique Encens was reportedly the favorite perfume of actress and diva Marlene Dietrich. The warm and sensual, timeless scent "evokes a decadent feeling of ethereal mystery." James Henry Creed is the original creator of this composition. "From the golden era of Hollywood glamour, this timeless and theatrical fragrance is comprised of deep throaty scents of angelica, incense and ambergris. The series of Kenzo World and its flanker fragrances has managed to bypass that by offering a very distinct visual presentation, literally "seeing you" in the sense of Lacan's "the mirror" concept. It's an interesting concept for all perfumes, because what is an artificial smell but an effort to transport images and feelings that we, as bipods, transpose to vision rather than more primal senses?
