Well the weather is crazy where I am in the south of England. But when it's a super windy day, yarn has to be hung out to dry. Or at least dodge the showers.
Pictures is Blossom Season fresh off the line
Momo and Sakura.
Ume is currently drying off.
More pictures to come, but I was so excited to show you all.
Enjoy the bank holiday weekend with you and yours.

Knit a glorious mystery shawl, inspired by the iconic prints and tapestries of the Arts and Crafts movement.
The mystery knitalong design this year is a tribute to William Morris and his daughter May, Edward Burne-Jones, and their fellow designers and artists, who left us such a legacy of beauty, and craftsmanship.
Those lavish, exuberant depictions of the natural world are a feast for the eyes and the imagination. Lush flowers and forests, twining vines and ripe fruit, mythical creatures and exotic birds: all things bright and beautiful, woven together in glorious abundance.
Helen's secret shawl is on a grand scale, full of rich detail and texture to keep you guessing until the end. But don’t let that intimidate you! The pattern will be suitable for brave beginners through experienced shawl knitters: while the final design seems intricate and impressive, the stitches are straightforward and simple.
Hop to or their ravelry page to join in. First clue drops on the 21st of March. But there is still time to grab a kit check out my website to bag one for yourself.

We enjoyed a family walk yesterday to , this is National Trust house with lovely gardens.

That reminds me Blossom Season is now on the dye list. So hop onto my website to secure yours.
I love to knit.. quite simply.
But with all things there are things that really bug me about my hobby.
1). Swatching - I feel this is waste since I could be casting on for real.
2). Tension - I am quite a loose knitter. So Tension for me is Ugh
3). Knots in the middle of balls of yarn. Just No!!
What three things bug you about your hobby? Let's see if they are similar.

La Pampa, the fifth in the Grasslands Collection.
Inspired by a wonderful Argentinian province to g*t is rich in valleys, plateaus, lagoons, native forests, caves, springs, and fertile grassland.
To get this gorgeous effect, I layered different shades of yellow and brown. I am so pleased with the outcome.
This is the next one I will knit up.
Hop over to my website to Preorder this yarn.
Calling all Yarn lovers..!
This is The Steppe. Part of the Grasslands Collection.
With its rolling hills, vast open plains and arid deserts, the Eurasian Steppe is one of the world's last grassland wildernesses. Gazelle roam here along with endangered Saiga antelopes and several species of birds.
I am knitting Le Bandana in Stockbridge BFL pattern by . It knits beautifully in the BFL and drapes well
Don't forget Preorders for The steppe are open till the 15th of March. Head to my website to reserve yours.
Calling all Yarn lovers!!!!
Meadow is the third colourway in the Grasslands collection. I wanted to try and show how beautiful the water meadows are that we have here in Hampshire.
Did you know Hampshire contains nearly half of all water meadows found in England? Neither did I till I was researching this collection.
Layering different shades of green and colour speckles over lighter colours,
gives the idea of all the lovely flowers and grasses growing close by the chalk rivers.
Pop over to my website to place your preorder. It closes in a few days.
Calling all Yarn lovers!!
This is prairie the second in my Grasslands Collection. Inspired by big skies and open grasslands. I love how the sky blue flows through this colour way, tempered by brown and mustard yellow hues.
You can still pop a pre-order on till the 15th on my website. This has been my most requested colour in Grasslands so far.
I think a Beanie hat would look great.
Savannah has earthy tones with a hue of yellow and lilac running through the yarn.
The inspo picture I used is of the African Savannah at dusk. I imagined I could see the flash of a lioness in the grass.
The dye process for this colourway is done by layering colours over the top of each other, which is why it has an even effect in the Swatch.
I'm planning on knitting a tank top. Looking for a pattern at the mo. Let m know of any patterns you know for Tanks.
What would you knit with it?

My fun fact is that I have ridden on the highest Zipline in South East Asia. Here is the picture to prove it. It is Lake Sibu in Mindanao.
As you can see, it wasn't a voluntary decision, and yes I screamed the whole time I was moving.
But the views of waterfalls were spectacular. Sadly I didn't take any pictures because I was too busy holding onto Mr P for dear life. But I can say I did it!
Where in the world? Well, the Philippines of course. This is was taken in December 2023, when we last visited the motherland.
This is Idex Beach on the Gulf of Davao.
It was a super humid day, and suddenly this sunset appeared, I love the boat in the foreground. The shadow give the picture texture
Then not an hour after that, a huge rainstorm arrived and we had to dash back.

Come with me and visit the Grasslands of the World.
Savannah has lilac, browns and yellows to depict dusk over an African Savannah.
Prairie with sky blues, browns and yellows to depict the big, wide open space of prairie land in North America
Meadow has sage greens with pops of colours for the tiny flowers that make their home in the water meadows in the UK
The steppe has blues, greens and yellows to emphasize the spaces and valleys of the Eurasian Steppe in Mongolia.
La Pampa has different layers of yellow to depict the heat shimmer over the Pampas grass in Argentina.
Have you been to these places? Let me know which one you like and what you might make from it.

My children are my world. I am filled with gratitude that they have made me a mother.
They are hilarious, super smart and individual. They are our greatest achievement.
For them I am truly grateful.
Day 26
I am not a morning person. Just ask Mr P. In fact I am well known for being a bit grumpy pre midday.
This was a gift from a work colleague. Maybe she had noticed too. 😬

I have just started reading this book. It resonates with me in many ways. The author is half Filipino (like myself) and raised in an American household. Deborah gets the opportunity to live into the Philippines for a couple.of years, and sets out an interesting journey that seems very familiar to me.
The memoir is full of little instances I have experienced myself when going to the Philippines. Really enjoying it so far.
