Happy Gemini Season ♊️, friends! 🙌🏻 On Sunday the 19th, I was blasted into this new phase by way of Australia's legendary "King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard" ( ) 🦖 😂 Gemini is versatile and dextrous, experimental, curious, and playful ... the focus on social interaction, communication, and mental energy in general is high 🤓📚 King Gizzard clearly embodies many of these elements in their own way (their style ranges anywhere from psych rock to hip hop, metal, synth pop ... the list goes on), so I find it was a truly beautiful convergence that they ushered us into this particular solar season (May 20th - June 19th). ☀️ Their repertoir is a shining example of what it means to remain open-minded and not get caught up in labels (here in Vienna, June 8th also happens to be the day of our parade 🌈, just sayin' ;)) ... Life is an experiment, and sometimes, you need to flip from one extreme to the other to see where your personal sweet spot is 🍓 And I mean ... who's to say that either extreme isn't valid anyway? 😉 The human experience is defined by polarity ... it is the lesson of Gemini to learn how to integrate it ☯️
Also, fun fact: The ruling planet of Gemini is Mercury (the messenger god, ruler of the mind), which at least three of the band's members (Stu Mackenzie, Joey Walker, and Michael Cavanagh) have conjunct their natal suns (the sun represents our ego embodiment/expression in astrology, and "conjunction" simply means "fusion", in practical terms). This means, despite having different sun signs, the influence of Mercury (and by proxy Gemini), is noticeably present in the way their individual energies flow and want to express themselves ... laying the foundation for like-minded, yet differentiated collaboration ;) 😁

So, if the last month (Mercury retrograde lasts about 3-4 weeks) felt anything like this for you, you absolutely have my sympathies 🖖🏻
However, the feeling of things being "stuck" or heavy due to all the mental and emotional processing seems to hopefully be coming to a close 🙏🏻✨️ The center card "Death & Rebirth" indicates a fundamental, transformational shift, one where we're being called to let things go in order to move forward; on the left, the "8 of Cups" depicts the process of doing just that and allowing ourselves to grieve; on the right, "The Chariot" is coming in bright and strong, encouraging us to embrace the influx of new energy and move forward with determination, decisiveness and self-assurance that movement—and ultimately victory—is at hand, so long as we persist 💪🏻🏆
The astro dice (Leo, Neptune, 8th house) simply underline the message: deep psychological shifts may have been preoccupying your energy the last few weeks, encouraging you to further shed layers of masked identity, but now the time approaches where you're being called to shine your true light, bravely, without doubt or apology. ☀️👑

This was a (somewhat delayed) full moon ritual inspired by a friend 🌕🤍 It was on Saturday, 24.02., in the sign of ♍️ Virgo, one that often calls for deep self-reflection and healing. Happy 2023 everyone!! 🥳🎊 What a transition! The upcoming year adds up to 7 in numerology, which is associated with: spirituality, wisdom, intellect, philosophy, analysis, truth, insight, intuition, introspection—i.e. digging down deep! ;) It's also an uneven number, which in general means MOVEMENT (change, development, growth, ...)! ☺️ And I am ALL for it!! 🙌🏻😍
On a more personal note, I took some much needed alone time today and went up into the woods to burn the advent wreath I had made earlier in December (as is tradition, apparently!) to officially close out the year/invite fresh energy. 😊 Not only was it glorious to behold, but the card I pulled for the upcoming year was just all too fitting—number 77, "Beginnings" 😉🔥

Merry, merry Christmas everyone! 😍🎄🌟 What a beautiful message to close off the season: We have the Six of Swords (air, masculine) and a bonus angel oracle card, "Caressa", both of which are about moving on. 🙏🏻 The Six of Swords speaks of feeling somewhat blue and/or weary, but with a sense that we are on our way towards calmer waters; "Caressa" is indicating the end of a cycle and encourages us to go within to seek support and guidance regarding our next steps.
So, allow yourself to feel this time in your life, this year, coming to a close. Take only that which serves with you, and rest assured that better times are indeed on their way! 🌱🤗💪🏻

Happy Winter Solstice (a.k.a. Capricorn Season ♑)! 😊❄ Interesting combination of cards ... this could be indicating something as simple as having attended a social event and then wanting to retreat to have alone time—the 7 of Swords is pretty s**tty energy, not gonna lie (probably my absolute least favourite card in the deck), but the interpretation doesn't always have to be as dramatic as it initially sounds (this applies to all cards). If the cards that come up indicate some kind of extreme, it's usually a call towards embracing the opposite energy to balance it out. With the 7 of Swords, I always see it as an opportunity to embrace greater integrity/forthrightness and to have courage, instead of running away.
So, retreat for a little while if you need to, but consider perhaps where in your life you're being asked to become bolder. 💪🏻🦁

What is it you have to offer the world? 🙌🏻 What is something you're so passionate about that you just can't help but share it? 🧡 How could you use that thing to help, encourage and inspire those around you? Maybe there are many things and it's hard to narrow it down ... or maybe you're just not sure yet. That's ok. 🤗 Just start somewhere—the rest will come the more you allow yourself to DO (plus, you're probably affecting more people than you know) ...! 😉🥰

Dude, second king in a row! 😮 And so far all we've had is court cards (i.e. kings, knights, page) ... this, to me, speaks of a process of maturation, especially where the masculine energy in all of us is concerned (also pretty much the predominant energy in the cards since the 1st). Meaning: taking charge of our lives, balancing out extremes within and without ourselves, and curiously problem-solving in order to make a mature and grounded decision about something.
Apply that to you as it resonates! 😉

The Holiday Season is finally here!! 🤶🎄 And with it, of course, this year's Tarot Advent Calendar! 🥳 However, instead of interpreting the cards for you, I've decided to simply share the fundamental, archetypal meanings behind the cards this time, so you can have a go at it yourself! ;) All you need to do is read the descriptions and intuitively consider how those characteristics could apply to you, your day, and whatever is going on at the moment (sometimes you have to consider things more metaphorically than literally ... i.e., "movement" could indicate "travel", "sports", etc.).
We all have access to our own internal guidance system, and learning how to use it requires practise, just like anything else, so choose to believe in yourself! 🙌🏻😘 It's one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself as we prepare to close out the year and start anew. 🕊 However, an explanatory video from me will follow at some point to help you along ... 😌
