We wanted to let everyone know that our students have TWO very special events coming up in May and we need your help!

Thursday May 16th will be DJHS’ Field Day for 8th and 9th grades and May 17th will be the Freshman Finale for our 9th graders.

Field Day Info: May 16th
9th graders will be outside from 8:00-10:55am.
8th graders will follow from 11:00-1:55.

This past Friday, these PTO mamas worked hard making these cute charcuterie cups for the DJHS staff! We 🧡 Dalton Junior High!

Thanks so much to this group for assembling the cups, making the signs, serving the teachers and of course, for dressing like their favorite junior high kiddos. 😉.

We also want to thank those parents who were not able to make it Friday, but were able to donate money for the treats! 👍

Happy last Friday in September, Cougars!

The PTO would like to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who had a part in helping to make
our recent Fall Festival such a success at DJHS!

It takes a team to pull something like this event together, and we couldn’t have done it without everyone’s help! 💪💪💪🐾🐾🐾

Thank you to all of the parent volunteers who showed up to help with concessions, the Photo Booth, setup in the morning and cleanup at the end of the day.

Thank you also to all of the people who made Venmo donations to help with the cost of the event.

We especially wanted to send a huge THANK YOU to Gondolier Italian Restaurant & Pizza for donating pizza for our concessions! We appreciate how you give back to our community in such helpful ways!

Our PTO is constantly working on ways to serve our students and staff of DJHS. If you were not able to help out this time, don’t worry! We have more opportunities to serve in the near future. ❤️

Fall Festival is underway and going great! What an absolutely gorgeous day for our annual fundraiser!

Thank you to everyone who has chipped in to help our students have a fun day.

9th graders took the field first and we also had some PTO members help us test out the games and inflatables!

Elote was a huge hit at concessions and the students were also able to enjoy some Papusas from a visiting vendor and of course, KONA Ice!

We hope everyone enjoys this beautiful weekend and isn’t it great to be a DJHS Cougar?!!

Teacher Appreciation week is coming up on May 8 and we are working on some fun events to make our amazing teachers and staff feel extra special. We are in need of monetary donations primarily to cover the cost of a salad bar lunch and happy cart treats but are also looking for parents who will put together gift baskets for a drawing.
