Carson's pediatrician referred him to a psychologist for an autism assessment in January 2020. About a week later, the psychologist's office called to explain the process and the wait time. The office assistant was quite lovely, warm and caring. She offered us to call any time with questions. We were told it could be up to a year before Carson would be assessed....
