I just finished a slew of VO work, and as much fun as it was, my passion really is in narrating. I love the act of giving that extra dimension to an author's words. When you pair the right narrator to the right story, magic happens.

I started recording another audiobook today! I'll have more details about it as I go, but I'm very excited about it.

This is a young adult romance with a bit of a mystery to it. It takes place in the state I grew up in, Florida! 🌴

I finished the audiobook and got everything submitted today. I already miss the characters and world. It's always hard to say goodbye to a good book.

I just recorded about 15 minutes of audio and when I played it back, I ccould hear this slight whirring sound in the background every few seconds...
..You guys, my cat snuck into my studio space and she fell asleep under my desk. The mic was picking up her snoring. 🤣🤣

I'm halfway finished narrating this book! I absolutely adore these characters and I am having so much fun on this project!

Today was rough, I had to re-record 2 different chapters due to a weird humming sound, and I had to redo all of the speech from one of the male characters...

But after all that frustration - suddenly everything clicked, post production went well, the internet was working well enough to upload quickly...
..I listen to it, and BAM. It all works. It's polished and professional, and moving. It made me laugh and it made me tear up (even though it feels like I've read the script 100 times today).

This is really what it's all about. That moment. Bringing life to a story. This is magical and I feel absolutely blessed to be a part of that.

I recorded 5 chapters today! I'll probably edit tomorrow to give my voice a break.

The next chapter introduces the male love interest! I can't wait to see these two characters get out of the 'mess' they find themselves in.

(There's a little hint about the title of the book. 🙂)

I started working on a new audiobook today! The story is so cute, and it's perfect for Christmas!

It's making me feel like I want to curl up with my cat, drink hot chocolate, and watch Hallmark Christmas movies. I can't wait for you guys to hear it. 🌲❤
