Hi Everyone
I’m having an absolute nightmare as I’m being constantly hacked and now scammed on facebook and Instagram as they are now combined.
Therefore, I have currently limited my friends list and am not taking any friends requests right now.
If there are any friends requests that you might receive from Me, my Mum or Steven they are scammers as if we are already friends on here, then why would we want to re-friend you.
Really sorry about this but you must also make your friends lists aware too, as according to the police I spoke to, it’s absolutely rife on social media right now and they cannot stop it at present.
Honestly, these people are an absolute nightmare with what we are personally going through at present, with threatening personal emails to finish our marriage and ruin our businesses.
Therefore, unless it’s absolutely necessary, don’t display your contact number or email and certainly don’t respond to them in messenger as they will then be in your system.
Look at any new friends requests fully before responding and if they seem dodgy, just report to Facebook as a scam, bullying or harassment, then block and delete.
Also look out for duplicate copy cat profiles as these people troll down your pics and your information and make a new profile as if it’s you.
Restriction of what people can see would be advised. This means your current friends can see everything but not an outsider who is not a friend. You can do this by going to your settings and in privacy, make it friends only. By doing this it makes you more secure and them less able to get in without your consent.
Please be careful people as I would not want this to happen to you.
