1 kg Chicken
5-6 Tomatoes
5-6 Green chilies chopped

1/2 cup Clarified butter
1tsp Crushed red chili
1tsp Crushed black pepper
1tsp Crushed fennel seed
1tsp Crushed Cumin
1/2 tsp Dry fenugreek
3 tbsp Garlic paste
For garnish Garlic chopped
to taste Salt
How To Make Lahori Desi Murgh Karahi
METHOD:
Coat the whole chicken with ginger garlic paste. Put it in a deep skillet, add sufficient amount of water cover and cook till the chicken tender.
Strain the chicken stock. In a pan add oil along with the stock , add the remaining 1 tbsp garlic paste, 5 to 6 chopped green chillies, 1 chopped tomato, 1 tsp red chilli, 1 tsp crushed red chilli, 1 tsp crushed black pepper, 1 tsp crushed fennel seed, 1 tsp crushed cumin seed and salt. Fry on a medium flame fry until the oil forms separate layer forms. Add the chicken along with 5 to 6 green chillies and 1/2 tsp dry fenugreek
When the chicken is fully tendered and the gravy thickens turn the flame off and serve in a dish. Garnish with finely sliced ginger.

As the name suggests this Spring onion Sabzi is prepared exclusively with lots of spiring onions. Also known as Scallions, Spring onions are vegetables of various Allium onion species. They have a milder taste when compared to most onions. They belong to families of garlic, shallot, leek, chive, and Chinese onion. Nutritionally, spring onions have the benefits of both onions and greens. They are a good source of vitamin K and vitamin C, and vitamin A too.
Spring onion is normally eaten raw in salads, raitas and sandwiches. The green tops are used like chives, as a garnish or sliced in salads or stir fries.
Here is a recipe for making a Spring onion Sabzi with the greens and the onions.Ingredients:
2 ½ cups of greens & ½ cup onions of scallions ( approximately 2 bunches)
2 tsp oil
1 teaspoon jeera (cumin seeds)
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
Pinch of asafoetida
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp jeera powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 garlic cloves finely chopped (optional)
Salt to taste
For the Masala:
1/3 cup Channa dal soaked for 2 hrs and drained
2 teaspoons Coriander seeds
1 teaspoon Jeera (cumin seeds)
2 tablespoon grated fresh coconut
1 tsp Chilli powder / 2 red chillies
1 clove & 1 cinnamon stick / ½ teaspoon garam masala powder
Salt to taste
Grind the above ingredients to a coarse paste without adding any water and steam cook for 5 minutes. Remove and crumble to a coarse powder either with hand or by pulsing it for a few times in the mixer.
Add oil in a kadai and add jeera, mustard seeds and asafoetida
Once the seeds splutter add garlic & whites of the onions and sauté till the onions become translucent.
Add chilli, turmeric and cumin powders and mix well
Add the greens and sauté till the raw smell of the greens vanish. It may take a while.
Add the ground masala, mix well and sauté for few more minutes till they mix well.
