☆ A little about Maddi:

I'm Maddi Kuhnell, I'm 16 years old, and from Childers, Queensland.

I compete locally in NBHA (National Barrel Horse Association) events and would also love to travel in the 2024 season to compete in a few rodeos as well as a few ABHA events.

This year I have accomplished so much. I am grateful for my horses, family and Cls photography, combined they have helped me to compete at the NBHA national show where I placed second in the teen 3D in the finals. Additionally, whilst I was riding at NBHA District 7 throughout the year my horses managed to place me in most divisions, even winning the Teen 4D title for 2023.

These accomplishments have made me hopeful for the year to come where I wish to continue on competing in barrel racing events.Outside of barrel racing I love spending time with family and playing sports. Anything horsey I love to give a go.

☆ A little about Jorden:

My name is Jorden McColley, I’m 21 from pittsworth QLD. My hobbies and interests include rodeoing, barrel racing and training young horses. I have set my eyes that 2024 will be a massive and successful year.

My biggest accomplishment in 2023 would be I finally finished my vet nursing degree and I’m so incredibly proud to now say I’m a qualified vet nurse.In 2024 I’ve set my eyes on Competing on the APRA rookie circuit including doing the Easter and Northern run, this will be my first time doing these so I’m super excited.

I’ve aimed to qualify to do Tamworth ABHA finals again as I went down for my first time last year and I had some much fun it’s definitely one I want to try to do every year. I’m aiming to chase my rookie title with my big baldy gelding Gadget he means so much to me this horse and to try and accomplish these goals would be a dream come true with him. Also throughout the year I’m aiming to do a few jackpots to start seasoning a few new young horses that I have coming up which is also super exciting.

I'm Chloe, I'm 15 years of age and I'm a reiner from central QLD. I have travelled interstate twice this year for shows in Tamworth, NSW, and Tatura, Vic.

My biggest achievement of 2023 was winning Green Reiner level 1 and 2, closely followed by winning a level 1 Derby.

My biggest goal of 2024 is to help other youth feel welcome into reining, and in the pen, score a 71.
