Admired some decent wooden holds at the WA Boulder State Titles yesterday. Pretty happy to have ranked 3rd.
Interesting that the creation of this 3-Panel Weaving Frame actually involved a lot of weaving. 180 holes were drilled and over 100 metres of sturdy Camo cord threaded through. The wood is varnished pine with sharp edges rounded to protect the little people that will be using it. It folds flat and has a special locking system for stability when opened out.
Dad has always let me help him build and fix things. We were making a wooden gate in this photo which was taken when I was 11. Handy skills which I'm now using to make a weaving frame for a primary school teacher.
Want to inject some more colour into your kitchen? Custom colours for paper towel holders are now available for $5 extra (total $20). Enamel paint and rubber base dots are used for durability in wet areas. Picture in comments.
Just got home from a holiday down south and have a few orders backed up, so got supplies from Bunnings today. Trolley was a bit short, but good steering practice.
Many uses for a mug tree. This was a custom order for a talented local to display her beautiful kokedamas.
This is where the action happens. It's school holidays and the workshop has been needing a clean up. It's not a huge space but it works really well for my Dad and I. The bucket labelling was Mum's job. Lucky we eat so much yoghurt.
Fresh out of the workshop this wall-mounted paper towel holder was bespoke for a repeat customer. Hand delivering today.
I'm not a fan of having my photo taken but with some persuasion from my mum here I am. She reckons it's good to show the person behind the products 🙈
Custom order of a paint brush holder for a water colour artist. Great to see it being put to good use! My customer travels a lot with her paint brushes, so I designed it to be travel friendly.
A really nice photo from a really nice customer! The lady who sent me this bought 2 paper towel and 2 toilet roll holders in raw pine to share with her family.
Job done! I've enjoyed hand-delivering these and meeting the people who ordered them.
Online schooling leaves plenty of time for tinkering in the workshop. People can't get enough toilet paper and paper towel! Fulfilling orders for holders for those that can.
