The U.S. Army has established a Future Soldier Preparatory Course at Fort Jackson for men and women who want to join the Army. This course is designed to prepare potential recruits to meet the Army standard and help them find a pathway to service. When I visited the course, I was pleased with the commitment our leaders demonstrated for helping these future Soldiers achieve the Army standard.
