Spring is my favourite time of year. The garden is slowly waking up, the birds are singing and the days are longer π
Easter is just around the corner and I love to fill the house with flowers and decorations πΈπΌπ£

Two years ago I was in Paris making a programme about Marie Antoinette. These items, which didn't make the final cut but which tickled my fancy greatly, were on display at the Conciergerie prison at the time.
They're supposedly MARIE ANTOINETTE'S KNITTING NEEDLES.

Whenever I lay my knitting on the floor for measuring he loves to lay on it.
We visited Nottingham Castle this week to see the Paul Smith exhibition.
We chatted with a lovely guide, saw the Nottingham lace exhibit and were impressed with the recent renovations.
I would love to go for another look before it ends in February.

This is my βStarlight Wishes Socksβ test knit for Ellie I used socks yeah in obsidian and almost got the pair out of one 50 gram skein. Itβs a lovely pattern and those little bobbles are much easier to knit than they look. Check out Ellieβs Instagram for more info π
