Sarcoma is a type of cancer in the connective tissue of the body such as muscle, fat, nerve, cartilage, blood vessel, and deep skin tissue. There are more than 50 sub-types of sarcoma and it is a very rare disease. Sarcomas usually affect children and young adults. It’s important to bring more awareness to this “forgotten cancer” to advance the treatment research that can save lives.
At StuffThatWorks we have communities for the three pediatric sarcomas.
