Hello peep!

I am so sorry it has been quite some time since I’ve stepped foot in the kitchen and baked anything but with a cousin of mine in his first year of college and after he experienced my cupcakes and Oreo balls back at my brothers graduation party, he has requested some. So his wonderful mother came by tonight to pick up cupcakes and Oreo balls for him and his best friend, which she will bring down for familyl weekend.

I am happy to be back in it all and will hopefully get back into it more before the holiday season but definitely during the holiday season or it would be the holidays!!

I hope everyone is doing wonderful and staying safe and healthy and enjoying life to the best they can!

Happy graduation season to all the seniors either college or high school! The past couple days have been crazy in my family with two high school graduations and one college from last year but due to covid was delayed. Congrats to my brother and my two beautiful cousins! I’m so proud of all of you. And i love how the cupcakes and grad hats came out!

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone! Spent this rainy cold afternoon attempting wandies with mom and grandmother! And wow was it an interesting time and man we have some work to do but round one is complete and they aren’t bad!

Hi all! It’s been a minute but I’m back! Tonight i was able to make my amazing funfetti cookies, oatmeal Chocolate chip (not pictured) and something for myself gluten free and dairy free blue berry muffins!

I think I’m getting the hang of this 😌

Lemon cookies are done! Baking with nana is always so fun, i learn a lot from her but her measuring skills need some updating 😂 “a little of this, a little of that, that looks like enough, sure that works” guessing measurements so much fun 😅haha but man do they taste good!

Baking has always been fun growing up as a kid and what 2020 taught me was life is too short to make excuses for what you could do today. As my nana would say, why save what you can do today for tomorrow. Tonight mom and i went to learn how to make a famous family recipe. Nanas lemon cookies. Tonight was dough making (has to sit in the fridge overnight) tomorrow nana will bake them and Saturday we will frost them! Yes it can be done in a shorter amount of time but with nanas age she likes to spread it out, so we do as nana does. Love family recipes being passed down 😊

Anyone else ready for a sugar rush to prep going back to work?! Or who has started a diet that i might just play a part in ruining? 😳 Having the last couple weeks off has been a blessing and i miss the kids but i don’t think I’m ready to go back 😂 guess we’ll find out tomorrow!

Finally Christmas baking has hit the Gover house! Christmas may have looked different this year for a few reasons but there is no better way to start the new year than with baking with mom! Doing a few door step deliveries tomorrow! Merry belated christmas and a happy new year everyone!

Happy New Years everyone! Thank you for the support and love in 2020 and keep your eye out for new creations in the upcoming days! Can’t wait to get back in the kitchen and create. I hope everyone had a safe New Year’s Eve and wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2021!

What else would i do when quarantine was supposed to end tomorrow but got extended. Mom wanted peanut butter blossoms, my brother wanted chocolate chip muffins and dad asked for blueberry muffins. Blueberry are on their way (the first batch didn’t go so great 😅) but keeping the family at peace while we are stuck for 7 mores day! Now i see why baking supplies were in low stock at the beginning of this madness!

Through this pandemic i have re found my love for baking. I was gifted an early Christmas gift today by some amazing co-workers. They went above and beyond with this amazing gift. It was like a Mary Poppins bag full of goodies! I can’t thank you all enough for the amazing support and for being taste testers. A proper thank you will be on its way (as soon as i figure who all was involved)! I love you all and the goodies will continue! Keep your eyes peeled for what might be next. I cannot wait to use it all up (trust me, none of this will go to waste!) ❤️🎅🏼

You know your an adult when you get excited over new kitchen gadgets! I got to test out my Christmas/birthday present (to make sure it worked before they were all gone! And then it was put back in the box) but i am so happy! 😍😍😍 and it’s in my favorite color! 😂 can’t wait to see what i can create in this new baby after the new year!!!

Not all creations are created equal. The first attempt at this a couple weeks ago came out better. This one, didn’t want to come out of the pan nicely 😂 don’t worry all baked good i give to people will be in one piece and perfect!

I realized i am terrible lately at taking pictures after i bake! I’m slacking! Must be the stressed brain forgetting things 😂 just a single batch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies that are a big hit in my family! Next time I’ll tweak it and see what i can do with it 😊
