It gives us immense pleasure to present you the second newsletter edition of South Asia Women in Energy ( ), a joint initiative of United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF).
The initiative aims to provide a platform for women to form a collaborative and strategic approach towards reaching goals and building strong pillars across the sector.
Since our inception, we have brought together women leaders across the energy, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors, to work together on designing interventions in outreach and recruitment; mentorship and leadership; and professional development that can help bridge gender gaps.
This newsletter includes key highlights, and the events and activities conducted under the SAWIE initiative to promote discussion and knowledge sharing on themes crucial to the greater role women in energy sector.
