“Nowadays, microplastics appear to be everywhere, from the arctic to deep into people’s lungs, which is very concerning. Plastic gradually degrades into microscopic microplastics that humans consume, drink, and breathe in. Inevitably, microplastics find their way into natural food systems and rivers, where they can eventually end up on your plate.

Though it is impossible to totally avoid microplastics, we may make intentional efforts to reduce our exposure to microplastics to a significant extent.” Here are some ways to avoid microplastics: https://organicconsumers.org/this-is-how-you-can-avoid-microplastics-in-your-food/

Hello, my dear friends,

Today I want to share with you helpful tip for Staying in Harmony with the Changing Seasons.

👉 Do your Qigong!- Feel the changes around you inside your body, bringing awareness to where you need to send more love and attention;

Make time for Qigong every day.

Always remember, with Spring Forest Qigong, it’s “good, better, and best.” Do what you can. But if you can make time for half an hour of healing movements a day and half an hour of meditation a day, you’ll be doing yourself so much good.

Not only will you be making time to feel the changes around you inside your body, bringing awareness to where you need to send more love and attention; you’ll be taking an active part in balancing your own energy.

So, even if you haven’t been spending enough time outside, even if you haven’t been the best about remembering to eat “Qi-fully,” when you make time for your healing movements and meditations, you can release any blockages you might have developed. And that helps keep you well.

Not only that, if you can make a little time every day for your Qigong, you’ll be building your reserves of energy, strengthening your energetic field, and fine-tuning your body’s receptiveness to what’s happening around it all the time.

That means, when it starts feeling changes – in the weather, in the seasons, or even in the people around you, who may be getting sick – your body automatically adapts, keeping you in harmony, inside and out.

Stay in Harmony.

Because after all, for all our glory and all our beauty as human beings, we’re still only children in the care of universal energies all around us, all the time.

When we take their guidance and behave in harmony with their eternal wisdom, how can we ever be anything other than happy, health, and wise?

So, do your Qigong and be happy and healthy.
Don't Worry. Be Happy

Many Blessings,
Chunyi Lin

SCIENTISTS DESTROY 99% OF CANCER CELLS IN THE LAB WITH VIBRATING MOLECULES

Scientists in the US have found a way to destroy cancer cells by stimulating molecules with near-infrared light and causing them to vibrate. They found that the method was 99% percent effective against lab cultures of human melanoma cells.

The vibration forms something called a plasmon, which is the rapid oscillation of electrons in the molecule back and forth, similar to the waves in the sea. This causes the membrane of the cancerous cells to rupture.

While so far, the researchers have found the “molecular jackhammer” method to be effective in the laboratory, the “challenge is to translate this” into human treatment options, said Ciceron Ayala-Orozco, a research scientist at Rice University. This will likely take a long time.

Rice University scientists had previously used light-activated molecules to destroy bacteria, cancer cells and fungi, and with visible light rather than ultraviolet radiation to do so.

This new method, however, uses molecular jackhammers, which are much faster than the previously used molecular motors based on Nobel laureate Bernard Feringa’s work. The near-infrared light can also pe*****te deeper into the body than visible light.

“Every time the light hits the molecule, that molecule starts expanding and contracting,” explained Ayala-Ozozco. “In one second, the molecule will oscillate or vibrate one trillion times.

“It’s so fast that by the mechanical forces around the molecule because of that vibration, it will disassemble the biological structures.”

(The research is published in the journal Nature Chemistry.)

Breaking News: City of Boston Bans Toxic Artificial Turf. Boston has become the largest municipality in the U.S. to ban toxic plastic turf in city parks. AstroTurf and other brands of plastic turf contains toxic PFAS “Forever Chemicals” that poison you, your children and your pets. PFAS chemicals are linked to cancer, immune suppression, reproductive problems, and much more. “The city has a preference for grass playing surfaces wherever possible and will not be installing playing surfaces with PFAS chemicals moving forward,” the office of Boston Mayor Michelle Wu said. “We already know there are toxic chemicals in the products, so why would we continue to utilize them and have children roll around on them when we have a safe alternative, which is natural grass?” said Sarah Evans, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai environmental health professor.

There is absolutely no need for toxic plastic turf that leaches cancer-causing chemicals into bodies and further pollutes our environment with microplastics. It’s just plain stupid. Ban toxic AstroTurf everywhere.

Toxin Free USA, a nonprofit dedicated to consumer protection and education, filed a lawsuit against Procter & Gamble (P&G) for deceptive marketing of Oral-B Glide dental floss based on results of a screening test for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Oral-B Glide floss prominently features “Pro-Health” on the packaging. P&G’s Pro-Health line is “aimed at consumers willing to pay more for products that touted health benefits, as opposed to flavor or cosmetic appeal.” But P&G fails to disclose PFAS in their products.
Known as “forever chemicals” because they don’t break down in the environment, PFAS bioaccumulate in human bodies and can be harmful at very low levels. PFAS have been linked to cancer, autoimmune disease, thyroid disease, liver damage, decreased fertility, birth defects, hormone disruption, obesity, decreased immunity, and high blood pressure.

Today’s seed industry is dominated by a handful of companies. Approximately 60% of the market is controlled by just four companies.

Many of the seeds planted by farmers are controlled by international property rights or patents, that limit how they can be used. Court cases have centred around whether farmers have the right to save and reuse seeds for future harvests.

In this programme we’ll chart the history of the seed industry, from the 19th century, when the United States government sent seeds in the post to farmers for free, to the growth of genetics in the 20th century which set the foundations for today’s market.

Ruth Alexander is joined by Courtney Fullilove, Associate Professor of History at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, United States, and author of ‘Profit of the Earth: the global seeds of American Agriculture'; Frank Terhorst, Head of Strategy and Sustainability in the Crop Sciences Division of Bayer Global, the biggest seed company in the world; Michael Fakhri, the United Nation’s Special Rapporteur on the right to food, and Professor at the Oregon University School of Law in the United States; and Dr Tamene Yohannes, from the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute in Ethiopia, which works with community seed banks around the country.

Happy birthday Louise Hay and Sonia Choquette. Both incredible teachers of love and humanity.

Louise Hay's birthday is today, October 8th, so we’ll be celebrating her and reflecting on wonderful times spent together. Louise’s fabulous big birthday parties in California were always extremely special. So many staff members and authors attended, and people were very happy to be able to show their love and appreciation for this phenomenal woman. Louise’s 90th sadly turned out to be her last birthday party, but it was an incredible celebration.

It had been carefully planned for over a year. During the day there was a huge honouring and tribute to Louise at a large theatre in San Diego – followed by a dinner at Louise’s favourite restaurant. It’s the top floor of a tall building and has a fantastic 360 degrees balcony with a view across San Diego and the Pacific – the perfect party location. The picture below is of Louise at the party with Sonia Choquette and her two daughters.

What I didn’t realise is that 8th October also happens to be Sonia’s birthday. Sonia told me that when Louise learned about Sonia and her work, and the fact that they shared a birthday, she had a really strong intuition that she would become a Hay House author. It was a lovely bond they shared.

Louise always trusted her intuition or ‘inner ding’ as she famously described it. It guided her well throughout her life, so it seems appropriate that Sonia is hosting a brand-new challenge for us called Unlock Your Intuition right around the time of Louise’s birthday!

Over 4 days, you’ll learn the keys to unlocking and connecting with the powerful sixth sense that resides in you. Being in tune with your intuition allows you to make good decisions, follow your life purpose, and navigate daily life with ease.

Louise shared Sonia’s view that helping people develop their intuition is really important work. Sonia has become a phenomenal intuition coach and teacher, and during the challenge you’ll have the chance to learn directly from her on daily live webinars!

I really hope you’ll take this opportunity to flex your intuition muscles and join us for the free event, which you can access at this link: https://www.discover.hayhouse.com/intuition-challenge-optin?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=unlimitedaudio_UYI_Challenge_202210&utm_content=9378
