Finally got my hands on a dial indicator to REALLY dial in on the alignment of my miter slots and fence. I initially used the combo square technique and it was fine. Oiling up the cutting board! 👍🏼👍🏼

Fiddled around in the shop for a bit trying to figure out how to perfectly flush up the borders on this cutting board and used a fancy trick I completely forgot about! Just a simple scrap piece of plywood screwed to the router plate raises the router enough so I can set the bit depth to stay flush with the material I need to be flat!

Flattening an epoxy top made by my girlfriend’s uncle! This router is a BEAST! Its got a 2” whiteside flattening bit, removing 1” at a time and at some points was taking off almost 1/4” without any trouble 😎

Just a little idea on how I glue up the stained pine flags.

WOOOO SANDING!! Look at that walnut! You can really tell the difference between the air dried and kiln dried walnut here you can see the air dried has a lighter almost purple tone to it whereas the kiln dried is a deep dark brown. Why that is?? I’m not sure, science probably... 🤷🏼‍♂️
