Packing an order for the website kind of feels like wrapping presents for Christmas. I hope the customers enjoy opening their package as much as kids on Christmas morning! Ok, that may be wishful thinking, but a girl can hope.

You know you are a homesteader when your family doesn’t even blink an eye when you bring a baby goat in the house.
We don’t usually bottle feed our kids. We leave them with their mamas and share the milk. This little guy was a triplet and, while she has plenty of milk, his mama only has the patience to stand for twins, so he’s getting a little help.

Who had FOUR babies born on New Year’s Eve? We did! 3 bucklings and 1 doeling. Tell us what you would name them!

The horses coming in after a morning jaunt to Granny’s next door. Trying to look all innocent. 😇 Life is never boring when you live on a farm!
If you notice all those saplings by the fence, that is about to be the goats’ buffet! We have been working towards and to work WITH the way God designed our Earth instead of fighting against it. The horses get a variety of grasses and the goats get to enjoy several species of tree leaves along with wild blackberries and American persimmons that are native to this area.

In spite of the crack down the middle, I love how the Christmas Spice soap turned out! It reminds me of a simmer pot with oranges, cranberries, and cloves. Definitely a 🔥 spicy 🔥 scent! Try it in body lotion and sugar scrub too!

When your favorite doe needs a cuddle, you stop and give her a cuddle. Yes, she knows she’s our favorite and she still thinks she should come in the house with the dogs.
