Summer is on the horizon and so is BBQ season🫕

If you want to have some of the best picky food in the village then look no further…. We will be doing some extra special posts highlighting some of the fantastic food you can make using some of our products from The Shop😍

First up is some delicious cheesy marmite sausage rolls made with some of our very own Cranstons Sausage✨Combining all things British! Sounds like a bit of you? Find the recipe below🍴
2-3 Tsp Marmite 85g Mature Cheddar 400g Sausage Meat 375g Pre-Made Puff Pastry Plain Flour (For Dusting) 1 Beaten Egg

1. Preheat the oven to 200c/ 180c fan/ gas 6. Tip the sausage meat (or sausages with skins removed) into a mixing bowl. Add 2 Tbsp of Marmite and ⅓ of the grated cheddar into the mix. Add 3 tbsp of cold water and combine everything together.

2. Roll out your pastry on a surface lightly dusted with flour. Cut the sheet in half.

3. Divide the meat mixture in two and roll it out to form a long tube shape. Drizzle 2 tbsp of Marmite on top of the sheet of pastry and spread evenly. Place the sausage meat in the centre of the pastry sheet and scatter the remainder of the grated cheese on top of the sausage meat.

4. Lightly brush the borders of the pastry with egg and fold over the pastry to cover the sausage. Press down on the edges of the pastry with a fork to seal.

5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the pastry is deep golden brown.
