STEP-BY-STEP: Drawing an eye
This is another demonstration for an eye drawing with pen and cross-contour techniques. Hope this helps you in practicing portrait drawing.
For portrait or figurative drawing, I always recommend everyone to take time to study at least the basic anatomy, it’s an advantage to develop further in figurative art. In addition, starting from the overall tonal value shading is more important than focusing on the details in the first step.
