Just a reminder that the Center for Eating Disorders hosts a weekly professionally led drop-in Zoom discussion group every Wednesday, 11am to noon ET. Open to adults, all genders, 18+ who are currently in treatment. Therapist referral required.

On behalf of all of us at the Center for Eating Disorders I am so happy to announce that Melanie Garzonio, MA, CAADC, LPC, has re-joined our staff and is currently accepting new clients (adults, 18+) for telehealth services. Melanie is an outstanding clinician and a good friend to CED, so we are thrilled to have her back on our team! Melanie earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Cornell University and continued her education at Boston University School of Medicine, where she received her Masters in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine. She strongly believes positive change is possible for every individual and focuses on providing a caring strengths-based environment for emotional and behavioral change to flourish. She is an advocate for Health at Every Size and body positivity. She has specialized in working with clients struggling with eating disorders and eating-related issues in outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization settings, with a special interest in working with college students and young adults. She is also a certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor and has worked extensively with clients experiencing co-occurring substance abuse and mental health issues, including eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, and depression.

Meret offers virtual clinical assessment and treatment services for children, teens, and adults who may benefit from a sliding fee scale/ability to pay opportunity.
