During the next part of the conference, the invited guests Georgiana Trifu from Centrul Pentru Tinere TMB, Cristian Petrescu former Minister of Regional Development, Carmen Marcu-Virago research expert and Loredana Marin- founder of Lace Magazine, gave their speeches. The following part of the meeting was dedicated to the reports from the Virago activities provided by each partner.

✨We are happy to present another Virago platform dissemination activity 🧕👱♀️👩🦰👩🦱👩🧕implemented by our colleague Aleksandra Lyutskanova 🤩
🗣On 13th October was organized dissemination session about the project VIRAGO in Alanya, Turkey🇹🇷
💫51 participants from Turkey, Germany, The Netherlands, Bulgaria, Spain, North Macedonia, Greece, Pakistan, and Romania were presented with the platform of the project. After registering, we discussed and commented under the post for “Erasmus Days” about why it is important to participate in Erasmus+ projects, and what skills we develop while learning about different topics and spending time with people from different countries.
🗣During the discussion, many girls pointed out that they are happy to get to know such a platform exists and is a place where we can be ourselves, share and talk about important topics. We discussed also the importance of women's empowerment and how supporting each other is the key to accomplishing our goals!

✨ We are glad to present the dissemination activity for the project VIRAGO🧕👱♀️👩🦰👩🦱👩🧕 in Alanya, Turkey🇹🇷 that took place on 8th October and was implemented by our colleague Aleksandra Lyutskanova ✨🙂
✨21 young girls and participants joined and learned more about the project and what does Virago mean.
🤩 The participants were from Greece, Turkey, Italy, Bulgaria and Germany. We had a discussion on the importance of such a platform where girls can feel free to share and speak on different topics without being judged by others.

😟 Body shaming wouldn’t exist if we didn’t create a culture that says beauty comes first. First, we impose a canon of a perfect appearance that is impossible to achieve, and then we consider those who care about it to be vain.

📣 Today, we would like to focus on the gaslighting phenomenon, which is regarded as one of the most sophisticated forms of violence.
🥹 According to Merriam-Webster's definition, ‘’gaslighting is a psychological manipulation of a person usually over an extended period of time that causes the victim to question the validity of their own thoughts, perception of reality, or memories and typically leads to confusion, loss of confidence and self-esteem, the uncertainty of one’s emotional or mental stability, and a dependency on the perpetrator.’’

📣“ I had the privilege to attend at 2 Virago Projects.
One in Spain, Medina del Campo and the second one in Bucarest. I couldn’t be so grateful. Both of them have been amazing, I met wonderful people, really good and professional facilitators and we did a lot of new and nice activities especially in Bucarest where we worked on the important topic about women rights especially in a country, where is still difficult be an active woman in the society.
For the first project I had no idea what awaited me but as I’ve written we did activities about the topic and more, they were our guides in Medina del Campo,
and other places around, explained what the association does, every time ready and available for our questions, they made feel us like at home.
The other groups of girls were lovely, I think people that do this kind of projects is different, are more open minded, without silly judgments and prejudices.
Same in Bucarest where we worked more and we did more activities especially challenges for ourselves and reflections. Bucarest could be a “different” city for the first impact but after I literally felt in love with this city, now I recommend to everyone and I appreciated a lot that we did the project there. Same idea about the groups, I met cute and brilliant girls always ready and with a great desire to do, I still keep in touch with some of them. And last but not least, I’ve learnt a lot o f things with this kind of projects that I tried to apply in my normal routine and the other projects I did, now I can be more include in the conversations about women rights and equality, don’t saying random things but real facts. Learning by doing is the best method for me. Thank you Virago project to made me be a part of the group “
