Rabindranath Tagore was someone whom you can’t fit into a specific genre of the crowd. He was a multi-talented person with a personality as sharp as a sword. Rabindranath Tagore isn’t just a household name but a worldwide phenomenon.

Along with our national anthem, “Jana Gana Mana”, he also wrote Bangladesh’s national anthem. The third country whose national anthem was influenced by his writings was Sri Lanka. Well, many people get confused by the date of birth of Rabindranath Tagore.

Some say it’s 7th May, some argue it’s 9th, but the real fact is the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore is celebrated in order with Bengali Calendar. So the English calendar dates are a bit messed up. He grew up in Jorashanko, Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, then what was called Bangladesh. Before the partition.

The most relatable thing about Kobiguru was he didn’t like to go to school, rather study at home, just like many of us today. But even if he was homeschooled, the sheer amount of talent he possessed from penning down great song lyrics to writing short stories and painting, couldn’t hold him back within the four walls of his room.

He traveled to a lot of countries and preached his work and enlightened the name of India.
Not only in India but the world knows his name and pays homage to his deeds. Rabindranath Tagore, for his brilliant mind and profound sensitive and exigent work, was awarded “The Nobel Prize in literature” in 1913.

In fact, he was the first Indian to receive such a highly esteemed award. He was also honored with the Knighthood title, which he later discarded due to the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. There’s a saying, it goes - “Not all wars are fought on the battlefield but some are fought on paper as well.”

The glorification of independent India would not have been better portrayed in a national anthem, other than Kobiguru aka Rabindranath Tagore.

Though he is no more today, for a man like him, his unrivaled and unparalleled works in literature and art his enough to leave a mark deep inside our hearts.

An Instagram post,15th August 2020 “1929 hrs.”, the legend finishes off in his trademark 'Mahi' way & off he goes.No fuss nothing, the great man says goodbye.
Will be always short of words to explain his legacy & achievements.
I'm here to say why I adore him as a person & what are the aspects which even a non-cricket lover will also find interesting & obviously, inspiring.
Let's start then...
Mahi's career shows that background doesn't matter if you are true to your work & passion you will definitely prosper.
'Talented' will never be the adjective to define Dhoni, rather it would be 'hardworking', it is har work which more than often beats talent if it is done in the proper manner.
Believe in the process, the result will not always be by your side. Put more effort into executing the process perfectly.
Be calm, cool no matter what the situation is. Learn to control the emotions well.
Be 'carefree' but 'never careless' & follow your instincts.
Take risks in your life but that must be calculative.
Be respectful to your elders & always try to have an arm around the shoulder of younger ones, mean to say one should know how to deal with people of different age groups.
'Unpredictable' is the word that goes side by side along with Dhoni. Be unpredictable, let others think about you.
Don't show off, keep yourself grounded & focus on your basics.
Lastly, never give up, fight till the end & try to finish off on a high note.

জানিস আজ ও খুব ভালোবাসি তোকে // Poem // Creative Writers

জানিস আজ ও খুব ভালোবাসি তোকে

খুব বেশি ব্যক্ত করতে পারিনি,

তবে, আজ ও খুব ভালোবাসি তোকে।

না, 'I love you' টেক্সটে ইনবক্স ভরায়নি ঠিকই,

তবে খুঁজে দেখিস - 'বাড়ি পৌঁছালি?',

'পেটে ব্যাথা কমেছে ?', 'ওষুধ টা খাস মনে করে',

টেক্সট ও নেহাত কম ছিল না।

ও, তুই তো আমার সাথে সাথে মেসেজ ও ডিলিট করে দিয়েছিস।

বাবার দেওয়া টাকায়, পকেট ভর্তি থাকতো,

তবে ওয়ালেট ফাঁকা করে দামি গিফ্ট সাজায়নি,

দামি উপহারে ভালোবাসা কেনা যায়,

ভালোবাসা প্রমাণ হয় কি ওতে ?

তবে তোকে বাঁপাশে রেখে, হাত ধরে পথ হেঁটেছি,

একসাথে ঘুরেছি শহরের অলিগলি,

তুই পাশে ছিলিস বলেই,

অচেনা রাস্তাতেও এগিয়ে গেছি নির্দ্বিধায়।

ও ভাবেই সারাটা জীবন পাশে থাকতে চেয়েছিলাম।

মিশে যেতে চেয়েছিলাম, গলে যাওয়া চকলেটের মতো,

তোর সারা শরীরে।

সব ইচ্ছেপূরণ হয় কি ?

কিছু ইচ্ছে প্রদীপের নীচের অংশের ন্যায় অন্ধকার রয়ে যায়,

অপূর্ণ রয়ে যায় গরীবের আকাঙ্খার মতো।

জানিস আজ ও খুব ভালোবাসি তোকে।

খুব বেশি ব্যক্ত করতে পারিনি,

তবে, আজ ও খুব ভালোবাসি তোকে।
