We sell Kimchi at Port Jeff Farmerโs Market every Sunday 9 am-2 pm. One of our greatest things to serve our local community is that we get to meet and talk to so many different people and families. Iโm a Korean mom whoโs living on Long Island, NY, USA. I love Korean food and spicy food in general, but there are no Korean groceries around where I live. So I started making my own Kimchi. Yes, Kimchi! For those who donโt know, itโs okay, donโt be shy... Kimchi is a Korean traditional side dish of salted and fermented vegetables like napa cabbage and radish, made with chili powder, scallions, onions, garlic, ginger, and seafood sauce.
Iโve met numerous diverse people who love Kimchi. Here we can talk about Korean food, culture, and what mom life being away from own culture would be like. I am excited. Excited to bring my Kimchi and other Korean hot stuff to you and to Long Island. Xoxo, Ajumom, not a regular mom. ๐
