Absolutely stunning guitar, in great condition for a 24 year old guitar that has been played.
Guitar was Manufactured in Korea, it has a laminated Maple top, A Mahogany Neck, Rosewood Fretboard, 2 Epiphone Humbuckers, New Bone Nut and recently received a Full Fret Level, Crown & Polish. Guitar is all original apart from the New Bone Nut.

Guitar has gold hardware and as usual from playing the guitar the gold has begun to fade and come off but that's very common for guitars with gold hardware, specially a 24 year old guitar.

Some signs of wear and chips but very minor and nothing that affects the playability of the guitar.

These Alpine white Sheratons are appearing to get harder to find and if found they go for £800+ so grab yourself a deal.

It has received a full setup and is Strung up with Daddario 10-46 Strings.

This Beautiful LTD came in for some much needed Tlc !! 🛠 🧰

When receiving this guitar the one thing stood out instantly was how sharp the fret ends were and also a sharp binding edge which made the guitar very uncomfortable to play. (This is very common with LTD and ESP guitars)
So I bevelled the fret ends, rounded them over and polished them smooth to ensure the best comfort. She then received a full fret Level, Crown & Polish.

The owner also wanted to swap out the original pickups. So we whacked in some awesome Warman Loki Hot Rail Humbuckers. These things are a very fair price and sound absolutely amazing.

A new Volume pot was added as the old one was busted. All these problems resolved it then was time for a fresh set of strings and a setup.

A full setup was done with Ernie Ball Skinny Top Heavy Bottom 10-52.

It’s now playing to its full potential and sounds absolutely monstrous.

This Epiphone Les Paul Florence visited the workshop for a much needed setup.

Unfortunately it was suffering from being very comfortable to play, sharp fret ends and a hard binding edge that just stuck into your hand and really let down the playability of the guitar.

So to sort this I bevelled, smoothed out and polished the fret ends and binding edge.
I then gave the frets a Level, Crown & Polish and received a full setup with a fresh set of Ernie Ball Beefy Slinky’s 11-54 Tuned to Drop C.

It now feels smooth and plays like a dream and it definitely looks stunning ! 😎😍

Couple of lovely guitars came in this week for some Tlc 😍

1) Squier Showmaster Stratocaster

This came in with a very bent neck which wasn’t able to be adjusted completely straight with the truss rod, after clamping it down to the bench for a day I managed to push it into a back bow, which meant I could straighten the neck nicely once it was under string tension!
It also was suffering with a few high frets and horrible uncomfortable sharp fret ends, so a fret level, crown and polish was done.
Also a full set up with Ernie Ball 9-42
It’s now playing fantastic and is one of the nicest guitars I’ve played in years. (I was shocked about this too) 😎

2) Aria PE Les Paul Type

This also came in with a bent neck but was luckily sorted by tightening the truss rod.
A fret level, crown and polish was done to fix some high frets and A full setup with Ernie Ball 10-46 Strings.
Also I added some black pickup rings which instantly made the guitar look killer !
Again it plays fantastic 😎

This Beautiful 1996 Fender Stratocaster came in for some much needed Tlc.
It came in with a non original neck installed but the owner would of liked the original put back on.
Luckily the old neck was useable but it needed some love. After many of years of laying around through many winters and summers, the lacquer on the neck was starting to crumble away.
So too sort this issue the old frets had to be removed, the old lacquer had to be removed and we started from fresh.
Lightly aged nitrocellulose lacquer was added and polished to a mirror shine, then a complete refret, level, crown and polish was done !
I also polished the bridge as the action adjustment screws were all seized and it didn’t look the best.
The guitar then got a full setup and a new tusq nut !
The end result was incredible and it played amazing !

So cool to get something back to original for someone 😎

Ibanez Set up and clean up !

She came in with a high action, bent neck, a couple of high frets causing fret buzz and a high after market locking nut!

A bran new locking nut and string retainer, was added , a fret polish was needed and also swapped out the old original bridge humbucker for a Warman Pickup which sounds awesome!

Also I set sanded the finish on the body to make it look more like a Matt /reliced finish as that’s what the owner wanted ! I think it looks pretty cool !

It now plays beautiful and sounds monstrous!

!Keith Stroud’s Foss UkeCaster!

Well this has bit of a story so here it goes,

This amazing telecaster Ukulele was built by a cabinet maker named Adrian McCarthy, he had the plans for a full size telecaster, which he scaled down to match the scale length of a tenor ukuleles. The craftsmanship was amazing and the quality was top notch.

The British Racing Green paint job was done at GTR Car Bodyworks in Bognor Regis.

The bridge pickup was made by Amuse, which is a custom made pickup. The other pickup is a standard telecaster neck pickup.

It was then onto the work for me to do, first it received a full wiring job, which included a 3 way switch, 1 volume and 1 tone.
A full fret job was done with medium gauge fret wire.
A custom made logo Decal was added and the whole neck received a coat of lacquer
A handmade bone nut was placed on it too.
I then put it all together and set it up and it plays and sounds Amazing.

Really cool project which turned out massively better than me and Keith were expecting.

This Chibson Deluxe Owned by Charlie Thomas came in for some serious upgrades !

The original Chinese parts were just not worth saving or using, so the choice to upgrade was made!

Also a decision was made to give the top a fresh lick of the correct looking gold ! As the one that came from the factory was more a bronze sparkly top which just looked awful! So A fresh coat of Nitrocellulose Les Paul Gold Top Paint and she’s looking sweet !

The difference is incredible ! 😎

This stunning 90s Mexican Fender Stratocaster came in recently, this thing is deeply loved by its owner and had been PLAYED !
It was suffering with a dirty finger Board from hours of playing, Bad fret wear and it could do with a spring clean.

To correct these issue I cleaned the grim off the fingerboard, then Levelled, Crowned & Polished the frets, completely dismantled the bridge and buffed it back to a shine while also oiling all the saddle height screws to prevent rusting in place.

It then got a full setup and a fresh set of Ernie Ball Regular Slinky (10-46)

The results are stunning and plays better than ever

This Takamine G series 12 string came in for a much needed setup and Tlc!

Issues where, very sharp Fret ends, Unlevel dirty frets and a layer of dust on every part of the guitar !

So a full level, crown and polish was done on the frets and the fingerboard was scrubbed to get all the dirt off !

It was then time to adress the incredibly high action which is very common on 12 strings, after shaving the bridge saddle down and a full set up, it’s playing, sounding and looking better than ever 😍

Well this has abit of a story, This started out as a £40 Westfield Stratocaster Copy from Ebay, it came covered in little white paint splashes and a fretboard covered in black sticky gunk, but i noticed some potential in the guitar like a nice Body weight and nice neck shape.

After some thought, i thought i could upgrade this guitar to a seriously awesome feeling and looking guitar.
First I did a full Re Fret with jumbo fret wire and re-radiused the finger board to a 9.5’’ Radius, the original was a very flat radius.

I then decided to Paint the front of the headstock black to match the body and had a custom decal made that says “Baker Stratocaster”.
It was then time to decide what i wanted to do with the Electronics, as the original electronics were not worth saving. I decided on 2 Iron Gear Telsa Shark Humbuckers, 3 Way Switch, Alpha Push/ Pull Coil Tap Pot on the volume control and a tone for each pickup.

Lastly i decided to go with the gold Hardware to make this thing stand out, I’m super happy with how this turned out and If i must say it plays and looks absolutely stunning!

🤘🏻 The Baker Stratocaster🤘🏻

Here we have a 1994 Epiphone SG G400 made in Korea !
When it arrived it was in pretty bad shape, someone had tried to re fret it and did a very sloppy job, there were sharp fret ends, no crowns to the fret at all, bends were scratchy and not smooth at all and a ridiculously high action as none of the frets were level with each other.
So after a complete re fret, level, crown and polish it now plays absolutely sublime and I can’t seem to stop playing it 😎
We also re-radiused the fretboard to a 12” to feel more close to an actual Gibson, the original was very flat.
It also got a full setup and it plays amazing ! Very happy with how this turned out ! 😎

Tanglewood Katana Vintage 80-90s Stratocaster Copy Electric Guitar Upgraded | eBay Since this Guitar has been upgraded, it is incredible. it has a nice low action, lovely feel and sound. The Bridge is set up blocked off as i don’t use the whammy bar but this can be easily reversible.

Steven’s Inde Stratocaster Copy came in a colour beige which wasn’t the best looking in my opinion, but after a refinish to a dark to***co burst, I say it looks pretty sweet 😎

Also a fender decal logo was added
