Here's a little bit about her and please give her a follow.

Hi! I’m Angela. A light-skinned Black girl from a community that identified even the lightest mixed-race kids as Black. I’m sharing my race with you because it’s important. It’s important to me but it’s also important for you to know because it’s the root of what I’m most passionate about. It’s important because it’s a huge part of my identity. I’ve always identified as Black. And I’ve always loved being Black. Being raised by my Black mother and growing up with only my Black family, I was taught that Black is beautiful and brilliant and proud!

I'm also an artist and the founder of Of People. Of People is a boutique clothing brand I created based off inspiration by my paintings, social issues, and the Black experience. During it’s inception I decided to focus my efforts on creating conversations and igniting activism. Which is why with every item purchased from our website, we donate 10% of the proceeds to Black-owned organizations and charities. At Of People we are committed to empowering and encouraging the Black community to stay brilliant and proud!
