(06/10/2018) Today was our last Native Stars Basketball (NSB) practice for 2018. We had a great 2018 basketball training season. All of our NSB players have improved in their basketball skills. Thanks to all the NSB players, parents, coaches and volunteers that helped us this year.

The Native Stars Basketball Fundamental program will began its 20th Annual 2019 basketball season on March 3, 2019. The NSB program accepts a maximum of 20 players each season. Today was a great start to our 19th Annual Native Stars Basketball (NSB) Training season. Our practice today was great. Our players worked very hard on improving their basketball skills. Thanks to all the NSB players, NSB parents, NSB staff and NSB coaches for attending our practice. We will continue our hard work next Sunday. The 2018 19th Annual Native Stars Basketball (NSB) Fundamental Training season begins on March 4, 2018. Our practice gym in Phoenix has been reserved and we will begin our first practice on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 1pm to 3pm. The NSB program will end on June 10, 2018.

Our 2018 player enrollment is set for 20 players. As of today, there are 15 players that have submitted their online registration form. There are only five openings left. Register online today at: http://www.nativehoops.com/nativestarsregistration.html

Things to bring to our first NSB practice on March 4, 2018:
- Practice begins right at 1pm with player roll call. Please get to the gym early to get ready for practice.
- All players must wear plain black shorts with a plain white T-shirt (no crazy T-shirts). Our NSB team colors are black and white.
- Players must bring their water bottles to practice (our water breaks are short).
- Players must have good basketball shoes. Our practices are hard and require good basketball shoes.
- Players can not have jewelry on. This is a safety hazard to other players. Safety is a BIG part of our program.
- Participation fee: Please bring cash to pay for your player fee (No money orders or checks). Player fee is $120.
- Submit all NSB forms (contract/medical/waiver). Place all documents and fee into an envelope with the players name on the front.
- Our practices are open to the parents, however, distractions, parents coaching from the side lines, talking loudly on the phone and loud noises are not permitted. As a coaching staff we are trying to help our NSB players with their basketball skills. Distractions and loud noises does not help the NSB players or the NSB coaching staff.

The NSB program is a fundamental basketball training program for Girl's from 6th grade to 11th grade and Boy's from 6th grade to 9th grade. Our NSB coaches are devoted to teaching the fundamentals of basketball. We work on ball handling drills, dribbling drills, shooting drills, teamwork drills, passing drills, footwork drills, conditioning drills and team defensive drills.
