1. Optimise LinkedIn Profile: photo, job titled headline, 2500 summary section, add skills and endorsements.

2. Resume: ATS-friendly, showcase hard and transferable skills in Core Competencies and Achievements section. “Boring” is safe.

3. Optimise job search: recruiters, job sites, in person and online networking. Let former colleagues, friends and family know you are looking for a new role.

4. Job application: use a tailored cover email, especially if career changing or with an extended gap.

5. Upskill on LinkedIn Learning, Teachable, Coursera, Udemy etc.

6. Prep for interviews: research companies, practice standard and behavioural questions with a friend.

You reap what you sow in Life.
Invest time in yourself and your future and don’t let all your amazing qualifications, skills and experience go to waste!

Then AVOID the following:

In short: stick to keyboard characters, basic punctuation and tiny round, black bullet points.
