Invitation for Under Graduate & Post Graduate PAPER PRESENTATION

1. All paper abstracts from PGTs are to be submitted to [email protected]

2. All UG (till internee) paper abstracts are to be submitted to [email protected]

3. Abstracts should be of maximum 180 words (including space) as an email.

4. A photo of the participant 3.5cm*4.5cm, in .jpeg format should be sent as attachment to the email id.

5. No word documents should be attached.

6. Name of the Presenter (only one), year of study, name of the college, name of the Guide, designation should be clearly written.

7. PGTs should write the name of stream and the year at the beginning of the subject of e-mail, i.e., submitting an abstract from 2nd year PGT of Dept of Orthodontics should have the subject of e-mail as: "Ortho-2nd-Name of the topic in short."

IDA West Bengal State Branch in association with IDA South 24 Parganas Branch commemorated Teachers' Day on 5th September, 2023 at Susrut Auditorium, Salt Lake in a befitting manner. We felicitated seven eminent teachers of West Bengal for their immense contribution in the field of dentistry,namely Prof (Dr) Amitabha Chakraborty , Prof (Dr) Anand Nandy, Prof (Dr) Samiran Ghosh , Prof (Dr) Soumitra Ghosh , Dr Sandip Ghose, Dr Pinaki Roy , Prof (Dr) Kaushik Dutta . Prof (Dr) Paromita Mazumder and Prof (Dr) Dolanchanpa Dasgupta delivered lectures on two very important topics.The program was a great success amidst the presence of junior doctors, senior teachers and teacher of the teachers.

Indian Dental Association West Bengal State Branch, kusum Devi sunderlal dugar Jain dental college and sushrut Eye foundation jointly conducted a dental and eye check up camp at Manovikas Kendra , New Alipore today to commemorate National Oral Hygiene Day where approximately 50 Special children have been checked . Oral kits have been distributed among everyone.

Indian Dental Association West Bengal State Branch commemorated the auspicious occasion of National Oral Hygiene Day to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. G B Shankwalkar by organising a comprehensive Continuing Dental Education session at KDS Jain Dental College and Hospital with Prof(Dr) T K Pal Sir and Prof(Dr) Rajashree Ganguly as the speakers. Sharing a few glimpses of this program.

On the eve of Oral Hygiene Day Indian Dental Association West Bengal State Branch in collaboration with KSD Jain Dental College & Ida kolkata Suburban Branch organised a mega oral health check up camp at St Xavier's Institute Panihati. Oral Hygiene Awareness Seminar was also done on a virtual platform for the parents . Special thanks to Sushrut Eye Foundation for their collaboration with us and for the eye check up which was also conducted for the students. Thank you all for your support.

Combined Continuing Dental Education Program of Indian Dental Association West Bengal State Branch and IDA Howrah Branch on an extremely relevant topic, Medical Emergency in Dental Practice with Dr. Sayantan Nag as the speaker. It was a full house turnout with an excellent audience.
