When hearing a call for HELP, the GVC community without hesitation came for HEPL.
Spearheaded by its most active past President Mr. Jhoemar Cuerpo who organized the SHORT-TIME-LEAGUE (STL) FOR A CAUSE. Thank you ALL PARTICPATING TEAMS for your finacial support. We are indeed grateful that even the last time we shared support through this initiative.

We call it VETERAN, but actually their skills what make them to be called veterans.
Ended meaningfully and previlegdged to having such kind of opportunity being part of the 25th Tuna Festival activties.
These teams were all competed with one goal - helping GVC to its advocacy ("Support Stdent Athlete of any sports, age and gender").

HOLY TRINITY COLLEGE OF GENERAL SANTOS CITY (HTC-GSC) outperformed its rivals - bagged gold against the Koronadal City.
Just concluded SRAA 2023 held at Kidapawan City - the HTC-GSC volleyball men contenders done well their job keeping their faith as champions. The Junior Wildcats headed by their energetic coach Jexie Bantillo, will be representing Gensan for the Mindanao qualifier for Palarong Pambansa 2023.
Congratulations! Indeed, HTC is the home of talents and champions!

The 22nd BINUYUGAN FEST in Maitum Sarangani is star-studded hosting the National-wide volleyball open league invitational tournament by HON. ALEXANDER BRYAN B. REGANIT, the Municipal Mayor.
After SPIKER STURF pro-league here comes the volleyball men's celebrities represeting teams in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao vying for the most coveted spots.

DEESG - During a close fight against Kampitiks in ODL held last March 25, 2023 (Saturday), the GVC-VETERANS' team advances to the semis winning the elimination rounds.
The crowd stunned when Ron-Ron fell on the ground after he miscalculated a block defense from the open attack of the opponent which landed unbalance resulting to TEBIAL SHAFT FRACTURE injury.
Thank you BUREAU OF FIRE PROTECTION, Gensan Fire Department for the rescue team with its acitive medical staff Ms. Rissa Mia Beduya. Thank you very much, indeed!
The GVC now announces that Ron-Ron (middle blocker) is recuperating and discharged from confinement from Gensan Doctors Hospital.

RIVALS BUT FRIENDS!
After invited by the KAWAYAN VOLLEYBALL CLUB (KVC) for their ODL, the Veterans team of your Gensan Volleyball Club (GVC) unbelievably made it through the final match!
GVC - The Championship match has been the most memorable game ever! One of the team player broke his leg after he made unbalanced landing from his block defense. Ron-Ron (middle blocker) was severely injured of the incident resulting to the game being put at halt.
Almost overturned and invalidate the game succession of the GVC team in premise which lack of substitute players in the list. However, the house rule of KVC allows another player to fill the sixth and won championship match.
The unfortunate incident happened to Ron-Ron was excruciating and we feel it until this time. With this, we ask your prayers for his successful operation and fast recovery.
Also, a big THANK YOU, GENSAN FIRE DEPARTMENT of its quick response to send their recue team with ambulance to the venue. God Bless you po.
