What are our patients saying about us at Dental Depot Mesa?
“Very professional, attentive, and caring staff. Granted it being a very busy office, plus seeing patients on emergency basis as well. I was pleased to see how ethical and courteous ALL the staff remained with not only myself, but I observed the same care with the other patients as well. It is far few and in between you come across medical professional staff who still remain ethical and kind even with the high work and stress volume. The folks at Dental Depot are doing an amazing job balancing it all out.” – Lei I.
Thank you, Lei, for the kind words! We are glad we could help you, it’s always our pleasure.
Is this true or false? Human teeth do not keep growing once the second permanent set has fully erupted.

Answer: True! Once the full set of adult teeth comes in, our teeth will not grow anymore, but some animals such as rabbits and horses’ teeth grow continually and have to be worn or filed down.
Misaligned teeth can cause a lot of problems from function to form. Our doctors at Dental Depot are expert providers looking to help you discover your best smile.
We offer orthodontic treatment plans with Invisalign clear aligners. Our orthodontists and orthodontic-trained doctors can help with everything from minor gaps and spacing in your smile to complex realignment treatments.

Here’s your reminder that brushing your teeth for 2 minutes twice a day is the best way to keep them healthy. You only get one set of adult teeth, so the more you take care of them, the longer you get to keep them.
Thank you to our partners! We are so proud of what our organization has been able to accomplish with the help of our partners.

October is Dental Hygiene Month! Here’s a dental hygiene tip. Using interdental brushes or flossing is a key part of any good oral health routine.
Cleaning in between our teeth, using interdental brushing, dental floss or water or air flossers, loosens bacteria and food debris from between our teeth. This allows brushing to be much more successful at removing plaque.
Dental Depot Mesa will be closed on Monday, October 2nd. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we will see everyone when we return on Tuesday, October 3rd!
Here’s a Fun Fact for your Friday! Did you know the average person spends 38 days brushing their teeth during their lifetime?
It’s true, assuming that the average person brushes twice a day for two minutes at a time.
Let’s hear from our patients about their experience!
“My twin girls had an amazing time. They just turned two years old, so this is just prepping them for later dentist appointments. The hygienist was extremely professional and made the experience extremely fun for my girls. They absolutely love dental depot. The train that goes around the office is definitely their favorite part.” – Brittani B.
We are glad we could help you, Brittani! Our goal is always to help our patients however we can.
Good morning, here’s a reminder for you! When flossing, don’t forget to go below the gum line.
Take complete advantage of the pliability and thin structure of floss by allowing it to ascend 2-3 millimeters below your gum line. This helps to remove bacteria that could contribute to gum disease and compromise your tooth health.
We understand that your dental health also means the aesthetics of your smile. That’s why we offer cosmetic services.
Professional teeth whitening, veneers, and even restorative treatment for facial trauma or conditions are some of the options that we can provide to help you get the smile of your dreams.
Cosmetic dentistry can fix a variety of issues related to the aesthetics of your smile, such as teeth that are crooked, chipped or cracked, discolored, missing, spaced too far apart or unevenly spaced, or misshapen.

True or False? Teeth are the only part of the human body that can’t repair itself.
Ready for the Answer?

Answer: True! Humans are not able to regenerate or repair any part of their body, except for their teeth! Teeth can repair themselves because they are coated in enamel, which is not a living tissue.
To help your teeth repair themselves, be sure to brush and floss and take care of your enamel.
Dental Depot on 83rd and Union Hills will be closed on Thursday, September 21st. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we will see everyone when we return on Friday, September 22nd!
September is Gum Health Month! That means now is the best time to think about how you care for your gums. Here are some of our favorite tips for keeping your gums healthy!
First, brush your gums gently twice a day, after you’ve brushed your teeth.
Use fluoride mouthwash once a day to wash away any leftover food and debris.
Flossing is one of the most important things you can do for your gum health!
Lastly, be sure to replace your toothbrush every 3 to 4 months because a worn-out toothbrush can cause harm to your gums as well as your teeth rather than help keep them clean.

The cotton candy-making machine that made widely consumed cotton candy possible was co-invented by a dentist. Before it was cotton candy, the fluffy confection was dubbed "fairy floss," by co-creator Dr. William Morrison, in 1897.
It all started 45 years ago in the heart of Oklahoma City with a dream and a lot of hard work.
Dr. Glenn Ashmore started his dental practice in 1978. It began growing at the turn of the century and has expanded into 4 different states since then.
With nearly 100 full time dentists across more than 40 locations, Dental Depot is proud to continue providing the same personal care that patients expect from local dentists and with the added benefits that come from a dental support organization.
Here’s a tip for you! When brushing your teeth, don’t forget to gently brush your gums and tongue. This will help to kill bacteria that cause bad breath and gum disease!

Good morning! We want to remind you to be gentle when brushing your teeth.
