I chose this video because it is Jelly Roll Morton playing Buddy Boldens Blues and describing what Buddy was like. Since recordings weren’t around when Buddy was alive I think it’s a great way to learn about Buddy as a person and about his music, especially from a great jazz figure like Jelly Roll Morton.
