$5 DONATED TO ENDOMETRIOSIS NEW ZEALAND WITH EVERY STORY TOLD ♡
Endo botanic aims to empower those living with endometriosis, a debilitating illness that affects 1 in 10 New Zealanders.
Living with endometriosis can feel isolating and it is common to find it difficult to reach out to others about your symptoms or experiences. My vision is a platform where those affected by endometriosis may feel empowered by one another and be reassured that they are not alone within their diagnosis.
You can share your story by sending Endo Botanic a DM. From there you will be given a list of questions. You may answer as many or as few as you like and choose to share your story with a photo of yourself, your first name, or anonymously. Stories will be released weekly but all stories sent within March 2023 will count towards the donation to
Let’s get sharing ❤️
Hello! End of last year I announced Endo Botanic was taking a wee break. During that time I went on a big trip around the US, I found my feet in my new job and I have had time to ponder on the future vision of Endo Botanic. In order to keep Endo Botanic sustainable I have decided to make a few changes;
- Emphasise a little more that Endo Botanic is not a business. Rather it’s your solo hype girl Liv (with much loved support) out there doing her best to bring positive impact to the Endo community of NZ ♥️ (This has been more of a friendly reminder to myself- to be a little more gentle seeing as I already work a full time job.)
- Following on from this point Endo Botanic will no longer take orders but will be doing limited releases instead! I’m pretty excited about this one as I have a few different exciting projects in mind. I’m currently working hard to release one during March as we kick into Endometriosis Awareness month 🥊
- Endo Botanic will continue to raise donations for Endometriosis New Zealand! $560 has so far been donated since the release March last year and I’m so excited to see what further support Endo Botanic can be to ENZ . Again this will look a little different- instead of monthly donations the donations will be given at the end of each new release!
Thank you again for your support and thanks for reading!
Much love,
Liv
Kia Ora endo fam!
I am forever thankful of the support provided to endo botanic since it’s release in March. Together we have raised $600 to 🎉 To know that endo botanic has made a difference makes my heart very happy.
A lot of you will know that I am a large advocate for practicing self care and putting your well-being first so that you can be there for those around you. However, through recovering from some recent burn out I have realised that I haven’t been practicing what I preach.
I have already taken some important steps towards recovery. I have steered away from shift work and am now working as a Plunket nurse, I am making good efforts to get myself to the gym most days and I am very excited for our trip to the US in December.
I have also made the difficult decision to take a break from endo botanic. I want to be able to give endo botanic the attention it needs and deserves to continue to create positive impact on the endo community of NZ. However, at the moment I just don’t have the energy for this to happen.
I look forward to bringing endo botanic back with a bang in the new year!!
Take care,
Liv
Those purpley-blue spring flowers 🌼
Absolutely love dyeing with rosemary.
Also did you know that you can use endo botanic’s wheat bags cold!? Just pop the wheat bag in a resealable bag in your freezer. Helpful tip as the weather is becoming warmer ☀️
New research at the University of Canterbury shows almost a 9 year delay in endometriosis treatment post onset of symptoms.
9 years!!! We can all agree that this is an outrageous amount of time. This can lead to detrimental effects on many aspects of a women’s health and well-being during this time. A women’s self-worth, their career, the impact on their relationships and this is just to name a few.
The full report is on website.

Renee’s Story ♡
Renee’s story is a great example of the need to raise awareness of endometriosis. For so long Renee had accepted her symptoms as being ‘normal’. It wasn’t until she realised that she was experiencing a high percentage of symptoms connected to endo that she decided to get help. It makes me wonder if this guest speaker never visited Renee’s work if she would still be accepting her symptoms today.
To raise awareness of endometriosis is the main reason why I started endo botanic in the first place. I introduce endo botanic as an awareness campaign, not a business, as this has always been my vision. To empower those living with endometriosis and raise awareness of an illness that affects at least 1 in 10 women in NZ.
I believe through sharing stories of Endometriosis like Renee’s it will empower more women to take action and no longer accept their symptoms of endo as being ‘normal’.
Thank you so much for sharing Renee ♥️
Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women and those born female at birth. That is approximately 120,000 New Zealanders.
Those affected by endo can often feel isolated within their diagnosis. Endo botanic aims to empower those living with this invisible illness by raising awareness and providing donations to to support their amazing work.
So if you feel alone, remember that for each 10 women you pass down the street one of them likely is experiencing the same feelings as you about their endo. Reach out, start the conversation, share your feelings with a loved one. And remember you are not alone ♥️
Kia kaha endo warriors x

“Through my own diagnosis of endometriosis, I have recognised the need to raise awareness of endometriosis. I have often felt isolated within my diagnosis and I am aware that others living with this debilitating illness have felt the same. It is about time that feeling isolated within an illness, that affects 1 in 10 women, becomes something of the past. Endo botanic aims to empower those living with endometriosis and believes that providing donations to Endometriosis New Zealand enables the best possible future for the endometriosis community.”

Endo Botanic aims to empower those living with endometriosis. Part of this involves facilitating conversations regarding endometriosis so that it is no longer a taboo conversation. Sharing your story can help empower others living with this debilitating illness. It is about time that feeling isolated in an illness, that affects 1 in 10 women and those born female in NZ, becomes something of the past.

Hi! My name is Olivia and I am the founder of endo botanic. I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 18 and over the last 10 years I have realised the need to raise awareness of endometriosis in New Zealand. Endo botanic aims to raise awareness of endometriosis, a condition that affects 1 in 10 women in New Zealand. To ensure endo botanic is environmentally friendly each wheat bag has been handmade using recycled material that has been botanically dyed. The wheat bags have been designed to help with pelvic pain and for every wheat bag sold $10 is donated to Endometriosis New Zealand. Through sharing stories and advice from others living with this debilitating illness endo botanic aims to empower those living with endometriosis and pelvic pain in New Zealand.
