I’ve been so excited to share this project with you guys. It’s my favorite thing I have made and definitely the most challenging.
Here’s the backstory❤️
This year, as of March, marks 10 years that my great grandfather passed away. I wanted to surprise my great grandmother with something truly special. My grandpa used to write and play music. We found a song that he had written her back in 1994. The words were so beautiful and fitting, that we decided to incorporate it into the gift. I found a picture of my grandparents that was taken on their 50th anniversary when they renewed their vows. I turned this into a silhouette, and made the song out of vinyl. I put the 2 together on framed glass, and it turned out better than I would have ever expected.
