Day four! FIFTEEN students asked Jesus to be their Forever Friend today! Twelve students said they want to know more about Him and how He can be their forever friend! Thanks God! See you tomorrow for our last day of SCUBA VBS and our closing program tomorrow evening!

Day three! Girls are ahead in our offering competition where we are raising money for water filters to help provide clean water and share the living water “Jesus” to those who need it. Fisher the Seal taught us today that “God is a friend we can trust”

Day 2 is a wrap! God is a friend who loves us! We will have our family night closing program Friday night at 6 where the kids will share with you some things they’ve learned followed by refreshments. Come join us!

VBS day 1 where we learned that God is a friend who is real! Registration/ check in should be quicker tomorrow as we changed the set up to be more efficient! Thanks for sending your children! We can’t wait for tomorrow!!!!!!

Scuba at The River Take kids deep into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. At Scuba VBS, kids will be immersed in the Word and discover what living water is really all about!

Today we learned about the parable of the mustard seed and how God compares it with the kingdom of Heaven. We also talked about having faith the size of the mustard seed and what God can do when you have that faith! He can move mountains! We made mustard seed necklaces and bracelets with a faith charm to remind us to trust God! The kids helped us draw a mustard plant to represent something big coming from a seed so small.

We can not wait to dive deep into God’s word with you at SCUBA VBS at The River this year! This is open to any student who has completed PreK 4 through 5th grade. Please register through the link below so we can make sure we have enough supplies! June 10-14 9am til noon

If you have a preschool graduate @ The River, please message us their full name and the school they attended so we can make sure we have the right spelling and a gift for them. We will let them wear their caps and gowns and be recognized on May 19th along with our High School graduates during Sunday Morning Service.

Another River Kid hard at work helping get ready for our Resurrection Celebration. Raising up servants!

We can’t wait to see you Easter Sunday at 10am! We will learn all about Jesus rising from the dead to save us from our sins followed by a celebration to include an egg hunt and games. Peep my cute egg helpers 😍 Bring your baskets!

Our new classrooms opened up yesterday. Thank you to everyone who has stepped up to serve our children. Over the next few weeks we are doing a series called “Crowned” studying kings and queens of the Bible. We learned about Queen Esther yesterday. We are learning we are God’s chosen people, a royal priesthood. Check out our queens and kings from yesterday.

River Kids are doing a Rada online fundraiser to help raise costs of summer camp. Each child has the opportunity to set up an account so they can get the credit towards their fees. This will be an ongoing fundraiser that helps support us for various needs throughout the year even after camp. We'd love your support. Purchase through this link and we get 40 percent profit!

RIVER KIDS CAMP FUNDRAISER: If you would like to try to fundraise some of your funds for Kids Camp, we are doing an online RADA fundraiser. Rada will ship directly to the people that order. You simply promote it and share a link. 40 percent of each sale is profit that can be used toward your child's camp fee. If your child isn't going to camp but you would like to help raise money to support other camp cost or River Kids needs, we will not object. If you/your child wants to participate, please let Ms. Staci know along with a good email address so she can add your student as a seller so they can get credit for their online sales. We can start this as soon as today! Great opportunity!

River Kids set a goal to bring in enough offering in 2024 to be able to buy 70 water filters for Africa's Children project. Each filter is $36. We are only $7 away from having enough to pay for 3 filters.....Keep faithfully bringing your offering in. Every $36 we bring, fills in one raindrop on our goal board :)

Midwinter campmeeting 2024 is a wrap. The boys pulled off the win and Ms Staci got a pie in the face! Last night we learned about the Great Commission and the Holy Spirit who was sent to give us the power to GO!!!! And fulfill the purpose God has for each of us! We had four students pray for salvation. 😍😍😍😍 Sooooo thankful for each and every youth and adult volunteer! We couldn’t do it without you! The students brought in enough money to buy a family in Africa a water filter and almost have enough for a second family!!!!

One more night left of “Under the Big Top” kids campmeeting. Be sure to come tomorrow to see if Mr Thomas or Ms Staci will get a pie in the face. Bring your Bibles for extra points! Girls, bring your friends….don’t let Ms Staci get pied.
