Eco Republic Design is committed to the circular, closed loop economy and authentic, ethical and sustainable consumption.

Eco Republic bags are handmade in Western Australia’s Southwest by local artisan, Gill. Discarded items such as PVC, woollen blankets, leather goods, canvas, car seat belts, car seat leather and vinyl and are given a second life by repurposing and recycling them. Industry offcuts and remnants are collected and saved from ending up in landfill.

By purchasing an Eco Republic cross-body bag, messenger bag or backpack, you are entering the circular economy, helping to reduce waste in our community and minimising the impact on our environment. You are giving new life to materials that were destined for disposal and keeping this local artisan in work.
