Massive thanks to Andy Jupp (top right) from Paper Starlights, who, since the first lockdown has been creating star trails in Derbyshire locations, and helping to raise funds for local charities. ..
And to local people like Nick (bottom left, a local artist), and Charlotte (who lives on Dale Rd), for getting in touch after seeing leaflets we've started posting or reading about us in the Matlock Mercury and clicked and collected a star kit. ..
Each star trail kit raises £5 for local good causes. And to help kick off growing a Matlock star trail, Andy is helping us run a fab initial offer to get people involved, with lantern kits (including a white lantern, cable, socket and a low energy LED bulb and £5 donation to a local charity pot) for £20. We'll run that offer til doors open again in April. If you're local (ish) to Matlock and want to get involved, drop us a message at the Dale Road Independents page on FB ...and to read the Matlock Mercury repost!..
