So I’ve gotten some questions these last few days about why I coach and if it has done anything to my life... Well, These pictures are a representation of why I coach. The first picture was me the day before I began playing DIII field hockey. I had been a drinking protein shakes, eating healthy, and working out about 4 days a week for 30-60 mins. The second and third pictures are one week and a week and a half into preseason. Regular was just beginning. I went from 4 days a week at 30 min (avg) to 6 days a week for about four hours a day. Then regular season started and now it is 6 days a week for 2 hours (avg) I am still drinking shakes and eating somewhat healthy (it’s hard when you are not cooking and you are relying on the cafeteria) pic 4 is me about halfway into the season playing in a game. I felt stronger than any game I played in during high school. While the numbers in the scale moved from when I started college, that was not my main objective. I wanted to be in shape for hockey and be able to play at my best ability. The last two pics are me toward the end of our season. We only have two games left until we go into playoffs. The numbers haven’t changed much but I see the difference in my look. I’ve toned up. My hockey game has improved tremendously. My attitude has been better. My overall health has improved and I am a better person. So for anyone who has stuck it out for this long, that’s why I coach. To help other people see the change in themselves like I did. To help motivate other people and show them what life is like when you crush your goals. After hockey is done, I’ll be joining on her 30 day challenge! I am so excited to do this with her 💖 if you have any questions about the programs or wanna join us,feel free to message me.
